  1. Heads-up - MY23 Superb is supposed to be getting massage for passaenger too ๐Ÿคจ
  2. Do something about it and change it so it will remember the mode ๐Ÿ˜…
  3. There's pretty much everything there on Github. What I have done: 1. grabbed xml dataset for gateway using ODIS online 2. used 010 editor with the provided template to edit a few things (change for each profile to which it should go back to and also change so it would not reset the gearbox mode) 3. used provided script in 010 editor to export the dataset with new checksum to ODIS format 4. exported dataset was used for parametrization via ODIS I might try and figure out if and how it could be done via OBD11 - but I'm not sure my laziness will not defeat me
  4. Modified the gateway dataset, driving mode and gearbox mode are not resetting now to Normal after ignition is switched off ๐Ÿ˜‰ Done based on: https://github.com/jilleb/MQB-FPA
  5. Modified the gateway dataset, driving mode and gearbox mode are not resetting now to Normal after ignition is switched off ๐Ÿ˜‰
  6. Scandinavian markets is another story - we know it all comes down to how much daylight they have.
  7. Why on earth are you enabling rear DRLs? It was meant to be like that, so when you are braking it's easier to spot during the day.
  8. Washed the car, did some photos afterwards ๐Ÿ˜„
  9. Get yourself smaller alloys with narrower tires, although with the similar wheel diamater. It's gonna be quiter, would benefit the economy and the ride comfort will be better too. I really hate the current trends to just put a bigger alloy size everywhere...
  10. Drive mode settings can be remembered, but it's not so easy. Here in Poland I haven't yet found anyone who would help me with it - it involves parametrization of the gateway. https://github.com/jilleb/MQB-FPA/wiki/dataset#0x339---0x345-profile-position-it-returns-to-after-restart
  11. It was done in Poland, ~ 1400 GBP. The whole car was done basically, whole interior with the roof, boot, doors etc, also wheel arches inside/outside, bonnet and under the windshield. It made quite a difference, the biggest one is that you really cannot hear much now from the road/tires.
  12. It was a workshop not me ๐Ÿ˜… To be honest fully loaded Superb L&K is just a great car missing one thing - better sound insulation. That's why I had it planned, it was done about a month after picking the car up from the dealer.
  13. There's a solution for road noise ๐Ÿ˜‰
  14. 1.8 TSI with DSG in my opinion does not make much sense compared to 1.4/1.5. This due to the fact the torque is limited to 250 Nm compared to manual version, so it's the same torque between the engines.
  15. My almost fully loaded L&K had the wiring up to the door module. So it needs wiring from the door module to the mirror.
  16. Bought a used one from auction portal.
  17. Mounted passenger side auto-dimming mirror glass, something that went missing on MY21+.
  18. To be honest I thought the option you showed is something magical to change the speed reading of the cluster ๐Ÿ˜… Yeah, you can set it somewhere in the infotainment - but it's still not something I wanted to talk about anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰
  19. We are talking about Superb 3 here. It doesn't even have the option you showed. It's changing the adaptation via OBD11/VCDS. Adapation is called "Wheel Circ", and there are 8 options to choose from. If I recall properly, setting the highest option on my car made the speedo go crazy, it was constantly showing 0 km/h ๐Ÿ˜ What I meant is that you can change how the instrument cluster is displaying the speed, by changing the adapation which is basically setting different wheel size. Especially useful when going either for a smaller or bigger wheel.
  20. Speedometer values is not really an issue, as there is an adaptation that can be changed to fix that ๐Ÿ˜Š
  21. Things like that happen all the time on various markets. Give it some time it will be fixed.
