  1. What I meant is that the Trailer Assist being available is based on a detection from camera. And that is the case, you need a special version of the camera for Trailer Assist to work. And the system works heavily basing on the camera.
  2. That recognition is not based on the plug - but the image from the camera. There's nothing in the plug to recognize what's connected.
  3. DCC configs are surely possible with towbar. There might be some coding that affects both working together, yeah. But surely there's nothing like "car will recognize what it's towing" 😉 The plug for the towbar does not have capabilities like that at all.
  4. I can only provide you some part numbers - but that's DIY, involves soldering etc. The dropped the passenger auto dimming in MY2021. My car is 2021.
  5. Auto dimming mirror retrofit is possible - I did on mine. I had the installation routed from factory to the door module - so had to route 2 wires from door module to the mirror. There's also offcicial Skoda retrofit - replace the whole mirror 😅
  6. There's something about rear view camera, Bluetooth and Smartlink fixes.
  7. Usuability of RVC right after startup (when the car was "sleeping") was already improved much a few firmware versions back. On older ones it took ages for the camera image to show up.
  8. It will move just by pressing once - only if the igniton is off (although at some point after the doors are open it still requires to press and hold). With ignition on - always press and hold.
  9. First time I hear that MIB3 can actually update the main software 🫢
  10. Don't get your hopes up, VCDS can't handle this ODIS or VCP would be needed.
  11. Only the pictures from the other side would make sense - as apparently the issue was with the mounting points.
  12. Because that's what VW decided to do starting with a certain model year. This can be fixed - but only by changing the parameter files for gateway. I did this in my car:
  13. You ended up in a wrong section. And no - there won't be wiring for the port present.
  14. There's really nothing more to check here, it's clearly a pre-facelift.
  15. I can fully agree Travel Assist is more then just lane assist + adaptive cruise control. But I wouldn't really agree I can see any difference between the "old" lane assist and how it works in Travel Assist.
  16. This topic is more around MIB3 which you don't have. If MIB helper is saying you have the latest - it's more then likely true.
  17. Quite interesting experience. Never heard a pre-facelift Canton myself - but I heard probably like at least 5 people mentioning that actually they think pre-facelift is much better. Overall it's true - hardware seems to be the same, but the software is different.
  18. I have a 2021 facelift L&K - and I have both the Sub in the boot and the 6 toggles in equalizer 😉
  19. How close you are to the car when working near it? There are a couple of antennas, and they track the key very well - if you are not close enough to specific door it won't be possible to use kessy.
  20. No history AFAIK. You can view the maps version in the settings to see if they are being updated (usually there should be a release each month). Besides maps, OTA is only doing some really non essential updates to the shop etc. The main MIB software will not update via OTA, it has to be done manually.
  21. You did not provide sufficient informations. What's the infotainment unit? There are multiple generations in Superb. Did you try another cable? Did you try another phone? Did you try factory resetting the infotainment? Did you try updating the infotainment software?
  22. Good luck with the mods. Having fully loaded L&K I'm glad I already have almost all the things mentioned 😅
