I havent delved into finding out if the warranty will be extended etc etc, will look into that once i get the car back i think, i have the date it went, and will record the date it returns, then speak to Skoda through the lease company...

lol, well, i did 3000 in 10 days, so if i go by that.... roughly 9000 per month x 5 45,000 miles :rofl:

Even closer now! Skoda have finished with it, so it now has an Engine again! It is back at the Bodyshop, and they are waiting for the bits to come in... They told me they had them, but actually meant they knew where they were getting them from... So, i have to call them at the end of the week, and they will then have an idea of how long they will be with it, and ultimately, when i should be able to have it back!!!

As Stu suggests IMO Mine was alow speed impact, around 10mph, then 5 days later the engine drops off a mount due to a claimed twisted chassis. Whether the mount was coincidential or related, i dont know still, and i still dont know whether the chassis was twisted or not. Get the car checked, ASAP!! Mine had no apparent damage other than the dent in the bumper... :(

Power Steering Pump I get this on full lock on m y current chariot, as well as ALL the other ones work have supplied me, and on my vRS Well, its P-S Pump when its almost on lock and turning on the spot...

My factory order took 12 weeks. vRS TDi.

Popped into Skoda again today... Car was up on the ramps, new engine in, but they are a couple of parts short, whcih will be in Monday earliest, so now they are looking at being completed by mid week... So good news, but still just the waiting game...

Glad it's back... Try to avoid them bloody Vauxhall drivers in future...

Well, popped up to Westover Skoda today, see what the situation was. The new engine got delivered Yesterday, so will be going in on/from Wednesday (Their 2 most responsible Mechanics are on holiday until then...) So.. Skoda should be finished with it by next weekend, then it goes back to the bodyshop, apparently (according to Skoda) they have the bumper etc already, so shouldnt have it too long there, then i should get it back!

Pah... :P

Indicated 135mph in the vRS Didnt realise, i had run out of revs in 5th, put it into 6th gave a few more seconds of throttle, looked and saw that speed, so backed off sharpish -still had around 1-1200 revs left though... All this whilst slowly opening the gap between me and the rep in his ST220 behind...

I was Quoted 12-13 weeks for less spec, from order, to build through to delivery.

Ill be interested in the soon-to-be-appearing Vauxhall VXR-Diesel range. Not sure what model though. OR, the New Mondeo, if they release an ST or RS model

This sounds like exactly the same trouble i had from Skoda's Customer Support and Assist schemes. However, i havent been able to give my car back, its been bought via a lease company. But, i know what you are saying about Customer Service, it does seem appauling... Good luck with it all though!

Im gonna be looking out for either Toyo T1-R's, Yokohama Parada Spec2 or Goodyear Eagle F1's when mine need doing.

Dont like them atall... Look a little tacky IMO Would look better if complemented with some Chrome Mirrors, but wouldnt change my opinion, i think the mirrors would be poo too!

I think i need to do something to the front though, once its back, that load made it uneven, although just a tad, i noticed it...

I never found the Hatch lacking in Space Mine is a company car, for Service work in Industrial Combustion. This is how my Boot would be daily, and only HALF FULL...; Plus it looks good in Black...
