No, my Dealer did it on my last service; I asked them to activate the 2nd Rear Fog via the VAGCOM Software, 'No Problems, we can do that easily' was the reply - car picked up, and voila, 2 rear fogs

Im sure that would go down well in the event of requiring a warranty claim...

On my PD, its a slot in plate that sort of directs the air - lots of slots etc, and literally just rests in position - its under the filter, on the floor of the bos above the air inlet Dunno what its there for, i removed it as its a little less restriction then - not like its hard to put back in for the services etc either

Its definitely not the 3 pipes, they are tight and the joins sealed... I think Resonance wasn't the best word to describe it - i think i'll get it checked over with the rest of the warranty items i need attending...

I'm currently hearing, and slightly feeling a nasty resonating/rattling sound at around 1250-1750rpm - it doesn't matter what gear i am in, or what speed i am travelling If i am rolling along, and press on the Clutch, the sound disappears (so suggesting it isn't Gearbox, luckily, i'm already on my second one of those... ), But, if the clutch pedal is down, and i rev like this, the resonance is still there It also does it when stationary (in Neutral as well) Its been like this for a few weeks now, but doesn't seem to be getting any worse... Could this be the DMF contemplating whether to **** itself or not?

I have removed the grating plate inside the airbox (it just rest inside) it removes some 'restriction' inside the box itself Also, if you look at the OE inlet scoop box, the rear wall of it is open (nearest the airbox), which means air being drawn in is limited, as airflow can bypass the tube going to the airbox - i sealed this opening, so that air being drawn in has to go the airbox and think it has made a slight improvement I can try to get pics tomorrow for you...

Their **** up and the resultant lack of customer service afterwards is pretty much the one reason why i am considering other options to replace my Octavia next year... I'd have another one, but need to experience decent service etc for the next few months to consider it more Well done Westover...

Seconded It seems to be intermittent power too, sometimes it seems fine, some others it feels worse than SWMBOs 1.4 Corsa. Bahnstormers RR runs don't show much of a difference other than the torque ramp in the other thread, mind... Mine is being re RR'd next month at a place where it has run before, so will have graphs with the same scales for comparison of curves...

Also makes the car actually LOOK Sporty from the front too

Looks good - it makes a massive difference IMO - they should come like that from the Factory too.

2nd Service All rectification work carried out, and Courtesy Car supplied (Fabia 1.6 16v Sport) Car was dropped off at 0830 ish, and work completed by 1230 They also carried out the activiation of the 2nd Rear Fog correctly (VAGCOM), new wiper blades etc And carried out the cleaning of the heap for me too Also found a 1L Tub of Oil in the boot, with the 'Womans Kit' (Gloves, funnel, instructions... ) All with excellent customer service as previously experienced
