Just a quick one only job ive not done now is change out the above, whats the correct or best to use please ???

Its not stuttering or stalling or anything and fuel economy is great since head gasket change there just seems to be a delay like if you had a diesel and turbo lag.

it all appears to be good and no pressure and clean oil and coolant its just since i did it its lost some acceleration it seems to hold back then accelerate and i did not have the issue before the head gasket change im even tempted to reset the tappets but I thought as they were hydraulic after the initial set they would be fine but its just not quite right somewhere.

Ive not done it yet bud was going to be more a part of my pre winter service and thought this might just be worth doing to check all is okay bearing in mind i did the head gasket not long ago

When your trying to open your window do your hear the electric motor going if so then its probs like mine was and the cable snapped which means replacing the mech I just purchased the complete window carrier they are not very expensive and its quite a straight forward job to replace hour or so.

Yeah think it's looking like taking off trim which I was trying to avoid. Will let you know what I find 😀

if i disconnect the cable from the boot when i then pull on the catch it moves easily which says the cable is all connected but once I connect it back up in the boot when I pull front catch its solid again then lol.

Yeah when you try to pull its rock solid won't move afraid if I pulled any harder would snap the cable.

I've tried through the boot its connected fine the issue is from the pull catch but csnt see why its happening.

So i went to fill up today and pulled the lever to open the fuel flap and its basically solid took me 5 minutes of pulling as hard as I could on it to finally release the fuel flap any thoughts ???

I had to order a new complete hub assembly for my buddies car the one side the bearing won't come out and now bizarrely the puller now will not loosen back off so he currently has a useless hub with the expensive puller stuck on it lost for what to do we've had a breaker bar and pipe on it but won't budge should have just finished on the side we did.

Ok so my buddy has managed to thread his one slider bolt into the hub so the hub thread needs retapping the bolt thread seems good any ideas on the thread size and pattern so I can try and find a tap to redo it please sorry my mate dont use internet hence why im asking about my car and his.

Hi when changing brake fluid and bleeding should I be bleeding the clutch first or brakes ???

Just a uv spray was like a fiver off ebay.

It finally came off with the heat gun me pulling on a scaffold bar over the breaker bar my mate on a pipe wrench on the back nut and his sister tapping eith a hammer not exactly the easiest one I've helped with.

will let you know going to try again in a bit we are both knackered from trying it getting way to old for this

Ive even had the blow torch on the housing trying to heat it up to expand it.

Will try it im not aware of any circlip either.

Hi so as some of you know ive also been helping a friend on his car short story he had a o/s cv joint blown it now turns out the wheel bearing is also shot. Ive been round with my gen2 bearing removal tool but despite using this and also a large breaker bar the bearing refuses to crack so it can move and be removed and we are worried about causing damage. I came across this part and wondered if this might be best way forward to replace the knuckle joint and just press in the new wheel bearing is this the only part we would need to replace ??? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184068147601

Its all good mate and there are some really knowledgeable guys on this site they have got me out of the fens pools duck pond a few times haha you will know what that means

Personally I think the likes of sepulchrave,wino and tmb have been invaluable in the knowledge and advice they have passed onto me on this site on many occasions I dop my hat to you sirs
