  1. Looks awesome 😎 - i'm counting down the days until I get mine (also moon white, but estate)
  2. We'll both get pre-FL cars, they've not opened the order book for those yet and there is an anticipated price rise. I'm not bothered, the mk4 is still pretty rare where I live and looks a lot fresher than my current mk3. Plus it would have meant waiting until the summer for delivery, at least.
  3. Update on this, I heard yesterday that my build date is week 7. So that was just under 8 weeks from order to confirmation, and 14 weeks from order to build.
  4. Mine was changed, under warranty, just before the initial 3 years was up. It failed a test when in for service and was replaced no quibble.
  5. Yeah that's the same sort of time as I was quoted - 20 weeks took me to early April. But looking at this thread it seems people have been waiting much much longer - unless that it specific to the UK.
  6. OMG I had no idea about these sort of lead times. I ordered in November and was estimated 20 weeks - sounds like that was overly optimistic to say the least.
  7. Did you get a build date confirmed Mathei? My order was mid-Nov and still doesn't have one.
  8. Hi all, I ordered a new VRS estate 7 weeks ago through a main dealer, the order has long been accepted but there still isn't a build week/slot allocated. Dealer said it's due to a factory switchover (I think) - anyone else got any knowledge of this and is it normal to wait so long for a build date? Thanks.
  9. Cheers all It doesn't seem easy to link the two seamlessly - so I'll pay for this service & MOT and have the eligibility check done then. All being well I get the deal, two more years out of the car and exit the plan with a fresh service & MOT.
  10. My Octavia will be three in Feb, happy birthday indeed to a great friend 🥳 -although that's also when the warranty ends, not so great 😬. I like the look of this all-in one service plan https://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/all-in-service-plan - it includes 2 services, 2 MOTs, 2 years more warranty and breakdown - lovely stuff. But, you can't take it out until the car is 3 and you need the car looked over for an 'eligibility check'. My service will also be a tiny bit overdue by then. So the question, has anybody managed to use this plan seamlessly? essentially setting it up in advance so that on the car's third birthday you get eligibility check, service and MOT? I asked my dealer when they called to see how I was, but she misunderstood me and suggested I buy a new car.
