  1. Do you have webuyanycar in Australia?
  2. I had a shorter rear bar on my mk3, using Thule Wingbar Edges. It was supplied like that and listed as the S/M option by Thule. However when I came to eBay them after getting my MK4 I was treated with a lot of suspicion, I don't think it's a well known concept 😄
  3. Doesn't really answer your question but there are isofix points on the front passenger seat in the mk4, so that may be an alternative.
  4. Sorry, only just looked under the bonnet, and yes it has a plain black plastic engine cover @sandroalfagt
  5. It's either a prank or a very niche security concern.
  6. Pretty sure you just scored it MK1 3 - 6 MK3 ? 🎣
  7. Worth double checking you defo don't have the fixing points. They were more like dimples than holes on the mk6 golf and I struggled to find them every time I wanted to put the bars on.
  8. I think the only real option would be tow bar mounted, or roof of course. Though I am a Thule fanboy.
  9. It was introduced to mark the coronation - See here
  10. Again just personal opinion but I don't think the FL models will realistically be on UK roads until the autumn. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it. I had a similar wobble in February when seeing the FL launch but knew I wanted a car for this year rather than next.
  11. Have Skoda accepted the order, as in the factory have accepted it? I thought they were just selling off stock now, no more pre-FL built to order. But don't quote me, that's based on chit chat at the dealer - nothing official.
  12. Same here, car collected last week with one, driver's side. Does yours have a cover for the 12v socket in the boot? mine doesn't. Not the end of the world, but, ya know!
  13. I've gone with this usb-c lead and added this mini-usb adapter My nextbase cam is behind the mirror and I'm very happy with the setup. If I get any issues I'll hardwire it, but this is second best IMHO.
  14. That's a neat solution @RobL50
  15. I bought the same cable but just can't get it to work passenger-side with my Nextbase 322GW. The cable I received is only 25.5cm, but the extra 5mm advertised wouldn't solve it. My nextbase is too bulky to have on the driver side. So I think I'll either hardwire it, or get the mini garmin and mount like @SouthernComfort
  16. Did you have to remove the a-pillar trim or manage to tuck the cable in without? I had a right faff with the panel clips on my MK3 which I don't really want to repeat.
  17. Really!? how is that a thing - that looks like when I try to apply a phone screen protector 🤯 I'll stick to scraping the ice thanks.
  18. That's pretty quick then! I get mine on Thursday after ordering mid-Nov 🤗
  19. I think you'll get what you ordered! 🙂
  20. Is that a facelift model then?
  21. Anecdotally, i remember hearing reports of blocked or incorrectly installed pollen filters on various VAG models causing this in the past.
  22. Are they easy to spot from a quick bonnet-up look? my car is due soon and I'll get the dealer to confirm/show me if practical.
  23. Shop around and you'll get a better deal, it's always true. *IMHO
  24. or try rain-x i used to use it on my TT and it did a good job.
  25. Yeah, it's a peugeot 😛
