haha! I was actually meant to comment here last night, i messed with mine whilst parked up and all of a sudden it worked! Scared the life outa me 😂😂 but now working but my app did update yesterday thinking about it, still no lock or unlock though

Stalk needs setting to int this will wipe once when activated and if settings set to auto wipe then it will wipe when it detects rain, also the speed setting will need changing on top if the stalk as you normally would. Thats the case with mine anyway and worked spot on so far

seems mine is doing the same to be fair the app is just like a bonus you can still unlock and lock doors and open windows with key fob, as for the heating i just use the voice activation and that does it all for you.

Hi has anyone else who has been verified for skoda connect for the octavia been able to lock and unlock car or windows via app? I have not been able to at all ( no options) but this morning when i clicked it the options briefly came up and then went again??? Any ideas? thanks

yes theres a few more turned off like the hey laura i read you can change her name yet thats blanked out on mine and also u can have more ambient colour for £44!! Im guessing this can also be turned on with VCDS as well as sports screen on dash thats also missing

yes this is my thinking too! The scrolling indicators are part of the matrix lights system thats an extra £1300 possibly more i cant remember, but im hoping i can get someone with VCDS to take a look, if its done and working will post back to let others know

Ive also experienced the judder on cold start but i had the fabia 1.2 tsi before my octavia so im used to it, i just start the car wait a minute and then its usually fine, when i ordered the car i said i hope it no longer does the juddering when cold and some times in first and his reply was its because i had a 1.2 🤦‍♂️😂

my bad you was on about android auto dont use bluetooth 😂

i have apple play and it turns bluetooth off when using it, and its just for hotspot i think and i presume to connect to your home wifi for updates....not 100% sure if correct

thats all i had to do with being verified, with my app i cant even lock and unlock the car lol

does the online version say your verified? I had this with the app and had to take them my drivers licence for them to send to skoda to activate the different things, all though im now verified nothing still works lol i cant unlock or open windows via app

So i got my car back today and seems my lights do go all the way however.... its an option to have them turned on 🤦‍♂️ They say the reason some people have them (for free) and others dont is because..... “certain cars have just come with different features” hence why some have the blinds, some have the lights run all the way and some have the electric boot button on drivers door, even though they dint pay for optional extras they were just a bonus, so im guessing then rather then paying them someone with vcds can turn them on, never heard so much bs in all my life 😂 but it is what it is, apart from that i must say im loving the car!

I took it to skoda after my post ( was not always my plan and even if it was so what!!??) i and thought id let people know as others are confused so i can let them know what my dealer says, so again not allowed to post on here because i took to a dealer?? Ok pal, done talking to you now you come across way to arrogant for my liking.

again you seem to not be taking note of anything thats been said! I have test drove one with no matrix lights or camera and they had this feature, im paying for what i test drove not half of my lights missing, had i off known then i may of paid. Also was ordered from new and was no option of this. Tbh your starting go go way of topic, i asked a simple question and even others are confused. exactly same here, some people just presume .....
