Mobile phone not charging
Do you plop it into the bay without any other trickery? Normal way up not upside down? Mu S25U Polypropylene case is basically non-existent and closer to a sticker than case, so that should not cause any issues, but still the charging is intermittent at best.

Android Auto issues
@SuperbGrey did your connection also drop audio for random reason while phone calls were still working? I have had same issues since i switched to S25U/OneUI7. Sometimes either audio or phone is only working, sometimes the car infotainment just crashes and reboots. Most annoyingly it just refuses to connect while it was working just fine 5 minutes ago when i went to the shop.

Mobile phone not charging
Same problem here, S23U worked just fine, S25U constantly just drops the charging. it charges between 15 seconds to 5 minutes, when i toggle the wireless charging pad off and on from the settings it resumes charging for a random amount of time. it seems that the car's charging system i just overly sensitive to random interference's, alignment problems or some other combination of reasons. The camera bumps could be a problem, but they were as big on S23U and it did work just fine. I have tried using different cases, even the slimmest possible one with less than mm thick case without any magsafe magnets still does not work. if the root cause is the parallel alignment between charging coils, than this could be verified with a simple pad that is barely thicker than the camera bumps and helps to keep the phone flat. With the original samsung leather case the mostly working orientation seemed to be upside down with charging port facing forwards, but that was also not 100% working. I thought it was because the case had metal ring around the cameras, but the issue persisted also with fully plastic case.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
@DasSkoda When i asked from the dealeri was told that no. The lower bar should indicate fuel level (quite poorly tbh), and intended way is to look at the milage remaining and decide based on that.

New Superb 2.0 TSI 265 p.s - some questions and impressions
Last time i heard that excuse was when A-76 was not sold anymore and Moskwitch owners were panicking because they could only buy A92 or 95E fuel... i have ran all of my cars on 98E only, from 1966 audi and same era moskwitch up to Mk3 and Mk4 1.5TFSi Superbs. No problem at all.

Phone connectivity
Do you mean " will not connect" as does not connect to the handsfree for calling, or " will not connect" as the android auto does not work? If it's the latter: 218 model huaywai - probbably Huawei Y9 (2018) or Huawei Y7 (2018) - both on Android 8.0 and need the Android Auto app to have the infotainment functionality. Not wireless, so only via USB Sony Xperia XA1 - same as before Android 8.0 and need the Android Auto app to have the infotainment functionality. Not wireless, so only via USB Nokia C32 - Might be installed with Lite version of Android that does not have Android Auto avaliable. The app should be listed under all apps if present.

Tweaking VCDS options
I asked the dealer if they knew about any of the options. I was told that changing anything is basically impossible because the car is in full contact with the factory servers all the time, when anything is changed the car will report it and it will become flagged in the system. Once flagged they will be required to do a full reset of the car to clear the flag during a next service. At least it does not happen automatically over the air, at least they did not mention this possibility.

Hole under rear bumper.
On all, but the lowest spec of the models they have "tow bar preparation" included. This is probably the reason for it. It just looks like a premade hole for the tow bar.

Tweaking VCDS options
Has anyone found or tried changing MK4 options via VCDS? The lane assist warnings are mental, it keeps nagging me to twitch the steering wheel to make sure i'm still driving. On a longer country drive it's just like arguing with a stubborn toddler. I'd like to bring down the harassment level from the factory level to somewhere manageable, where i can actually concentrate on driving instead of constantly being warned to twitch the steering wheel or it will start beeping at me. Currently on the country roads i have to drive with a offset from the center so there is constant pressure against the lane assist, that somewhat helps the system to understand that i'm still present and holding the wheel. Or are there menu options should i select besides disabling it to stop it from warning me all the time?

@fraz8888, both of those videos are just fantasy clickbait, no reason to waste time watching them.

On the steering wheel menu i can turn off the lane assist altogether, but not only the nanny part of it or any sensitivity. Also checked the car menu for the same option but could not find anything under the assists menu.

Superb Mk4
AFAIK the travel assist is the ACC and active lane keeping, automatic brake and and acceleration. The regular ACC on MK3 could be had with without lane assist or with the basic assist that does not follow the centerline of the road. I was told no, but no way to confirm that, i dont have a working iphone to test with. I am hoping someone with updated VCDS cable figures out how to change the parameters and hopefully those three things could be changed. it's still quite new car, so i guess it will take few more months until this happens With the "MFSW via a tick box" you mean somewhere in the car settings menu? i'll try to search from there, maybe i missed it on the first go.

Superb Mk4
New Mk4 Superb owner here, shes quite an upgrade compared to my previous Mk3 superb, but that's mostly due to the spec and less due to the new model. Not to say that's a bad thing, I'm still really happy with the upgrade and would not like to go back to the previous car. The interior is quietness with sound proof glass and canton sound is really good. Also the automatic rear hatch with automatic cover is a hidden blessing, i did not imagine i would actually enjoy using it as much as i do. Part of the older mk3 tech that i did not have before is travel assist, yesterday i drove trough a city whilst using the accelerator pedal once and brake pedal twice. Coming from manual gearbox Mk3 the last one is something i did expect but also did not expect, there is so much less to do. The HUD has integration with android auto, so it does display the waze navigation turn arrow with the distance. Design is still understandably Skoda Superb, front looks great but rear just does not compute for me, old one looked better. Maybe it will grow on me, but for now it's a step back. Because 95% of the cars on the road are gray/silver/etc colour i selected the only other colour available that was not blue - red. It's not as bright as on the eniaq but still looks really good, i love it. Few annoyances that are starting to annoy me: the lack of memory for the simplest of things. I was told that those things are mostly due to the "green" nature of the car or for "safety", but i would still like to turn this BS off. First thing is the speed alert that just keeps coming back after each restart and there is no way to permanently disable the damn thing. Even if i turn off the beeping, it just reverts back to factory setting after i restart the car. Second thing is the seat heater memory, on the Mk3 i was able to enable this setting on the first day of ownership, so i would like to repeat this feature for this car. Since i do a lot of short trips during the winter, i got accustomed to just turning the heated seats and wheel on in november and turning it back off in march. Thirdly is there a way how to remove the "take over the steering" nanny in the travel assist? At around 500m on a flat straight road when that car is positioned correctly by travel assistant, and does not need any steering alterations the car starts annoying me to do some steering input just to make sure I'm still here. But the car did a good job already so what am i supposed to do, develop parkinsons just to keep the wheel twitching enough? Also, where are the front fogs? Not that they were used often, but still...

Start/stop... Linked to steering...
Also on a manual i can't be bothered to switch the start-stop off. Unless i keep the clutch down to keep the engine from going off, once the engine is off and i'm in neutral, there is no way i'm fast enough to clutch in and select gear before the engine starts.

The Superb III Picture thread
How did you get it working, did you have to use a rooted phone to have it visible in AA menu? I tried installing it, but i'm stuck with finding a way to make the Performance monitor visible in the menu, it needs somekind ow workaround if i understand correctly.
