Choosing a spare wheel advice needed
I suspect the tyre on that ebay listing is a budget tyre, which are in general best avoided. Reasonable quality tyres aren't always expensive, with Camskill listing Kumho ES31 and Kumho HS52 in size 215/60R16 94V for about £68. My preference for a spare for the Superb MK3 FWD (not 4x4) would be something like Vredestein Ultrac+ in size 215/60R16 94V. It's listed on Camskill for about £20 more than the above mentioned Kumho tyres. Being winter, steel rims are currently more than summer prices...with the Alcar 6665 6Jx16 ET43 5/112 57.1 steel rim being listed on mytyres for about £76 including shipping to the UK. Come spring/summer I expect this price will drop a lot. The reason for the high price of steel rims in the winter, is because of the high demand for winter tyres. The weight of a 6Jx16 ET43 5/112 57.1 steel rim (from Karoq) is about 7.60kg, whereas the weight of a 6.5Jx16 ET41 5/112 57.1 alloy rim (from Superb MK3) is about 9.9kg. So that's 2.3kg more, which is about 30% more. When it comes to weight, the 18" alloy rims are often over 12kg and the 19" alloy rims are often over 14kg. So the 7.60kg steel rim is quite light weight by comparison. Tyre size
225/50R17 or 225/55R17 could be used instead of 215/55R17, as shown in the chart below. As the car's speedo over-reads slightly on standard tyres, it would make sense to use 225/55R17 instead of 225/50R17. My preference for 225/50R17 and 225/55R17 would be 7" wide rims. With 6.5" wide rims, I would stick to 215/55R17. Outside diameter of tyre 215/60R16 664.4mm 215/55R17 668.3mm 235/45R18 668.7mm 235/40R19 670.6mm 225/50R17 656.8mm (Between 1.1% and 2.1% smaller than standard tyre sizes) 225/55R17 679.3mm (Between 1.3% and 2.2% bigger than standard tyre sizes)

As you can see in the first chart below, the actual width of the 255/50R19 wheel is only 14mm wider than the 235/55R19 wheel, ie. 7mm wider each side. Skoda might have provided more than 7mm clearance each side with the standard 235/55R19 8Jx19 ET45 front wheels. If so, 255/50R19 8Jx19 ET45 wheels will fit on the front. Spare Wheel Question
Skoda sell a spare wheel kit for the Fabia MK3 that fits in the spare wheel well. It has OEM part number 6V0093860B which includes everything except for the actual spare wheel. The spare wheel that's normally fitted to these is 185/60R15 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 and can be ordered separately. This spare wheel kit can be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting the OEM part number, ie. 6V0093860B The below "skoda eshop cz" website doesn't ship to the UK, but it's a useful website for finding out the OEM part numbers of spare wheel kits, etc. If you want to order a 185/60R15 84H 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 spare wheel (tyre fitted to steel rim)...this can be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting OEM part number 6V0601011M. However, if you want to choose your own make and model of spare tyre a 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 steel rim can also be ordered from any VAG parts department. They should be able to find out the OEM part number for this from their VAG computer system using the car's VIN number. Tyre size
If you mean the non-standard (for the Superb MK4) 6Jx17 ET48 alloy rims from the Octavia MK3, then perhaps also consider non-standard (for the Superb MK4) 6.5Jx17 ET41 alloy rims from the Superb MK3. These have the same ET41 offset that the Superb MK4 7.5Jx17 ET41 rims have, but they have a 1" smaller rim width at 6.5". With the 215/55R17 tyre size, a 7.5" rim width doesn't offer much protection for the rim from kerbing damage because the tyre's sidewalls don't bulge out much. As you can see in the ETRTO chart below, 215/55R17 can be fitted to a rim width between 6" and 7.5". Out of the four allowable rim width fo the 215/55R17 tyre size, my preference would be 6.5" followed by 7". One owner mentioned that their alloy rims from the "skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue" cost about 20% more at UK VAG dealers compared to the online Czech price. However, one owner purchased from "skoda parts com" where the website claims that they are set up to pay the UK VAT. Prices at "skoda parts com" seem to be similar to "skoda eshop cz", although unlike "skoda parts com", "skoda eshop cz" don't appear to be setup to ship to the UK. It's best to purchase winter tyres in the summer, or at least by September...because demand and prices increase dramatically from October onwards. ETRTO approved rim widths for passenger car tyres 215/55R17 6.0-7.0-7.5 225/50R17 6.0-7.0-8.0 6.5Jx17 ET41 5/112 57.1 alloy rim TRITON (from Superb MK3...non-standard for Superb MK4) https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/superb-3/spare-parts/accessories/wheels-steel-aluminium/aluminium-wheel/17-895.html As you can see below, the winter wheel sizes for the Superb MK3 are similar to the Superb MK4 winter wheel sizes, ie. 0.5" narrower and with 2mm less offset. For the 215/55R17 tyre size, my preference would be a 6.5" rim width rather than the slightly wider 7" rim width. The 0.5" narrower 6.5" rim width provides better protection for the rim from kerbing damage because the tyre's sidewalls bulge out a little more. Technical specifications (from Superb MK3 owner's manual)Permitted rim / tire combinations for the installation of the snow chains. Tyre size
As you can see in the extract from the Superb MK4 owner's manual below, there are two Skoda approved wheel sizes that are suitable for the use of snow chains, ie. 215/60R16 7Jx16 ET43 and 215/55R17 7Jx17 ET43. Bear in mind, that Skoda also has a 7.5Jx17 ET41 rim for the Superb MK4 and that size rim is not approved by Skoda for snow chains...so attention does need to be paid to the rim width and offset, as well as the tyre size...when selecting winter wheels. Look in the Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue for reasonable price alloy rims...although some Czech websites such as "skoda eshop cz" are good at displaying most of the alloy rims that Skoda have in their "Skoda alloy rim accessory catalogue". Skoda uses this catalogue to compete on price with aftermarket alloy rims...hence the generally competitive prices. Technical data and specifications (from Superb MK4 owner's manual) Permitted rim and tyre combinations for mounting snow chains: Rim dimensions Tyre dimensions 7J×16 ET43 215/60R16 7J×17 ET43 215/55R17 Only use snow chains with links no larger than 13 mm, including locks. Increasing the weight of the car (towbar + LPG tank). Which rear springs should I use?
With the extra 80kg weight of the LPG tank and towbar (in addition to the 4x4 system) you might find that the unladen ride height is still slightly low with either of these springs. If so, increased ride height rear springs such as 3Q0511115AS (build codes UC7+0YF) might give the desire result. Although 3Q0511115AS rear springs would give increased ride height on a FWD Superb MK3 (without LPG tank and towbar), the extra weight of the 4x4 system, LPG tank, and towbar could cause the increased ride height rear springs to look like standard ride height rear springs...and similarly the standard ride height rear springs to look like lowered ride height rear springs. With the same wire diameter and number of coil turns, the Eibach R21706 and Eibach R22930 rear springs should have similar stiffness. My preference would be to try the standard ride height rear springs first, because 10mm lower rear ride height gives better handling...and only try the increased ride height rear springs if the rear ride height is too low with the standard ride height rear springs. Increasing the weight of the car (towbar + LPG tank). Which rear springs should I use?
Kilen and Lesjofors are the same springs, made in the same modern factory in Sweden...just sold under two different brand names to increase market share. They are the biggest manufacturer of aftermarket car springs in Europe. Kilen 65127 and Lesjofors 4295137 are sold to replace 3Q0511115N and 3Q0511115P, but are probably 3Q0511115P springs. 3Q0511115P rear springs (two weight ranges higher than 3Q0511115M) Kilen 65127 Lesjofors 4295137 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/3q0511115p?supplier%5B%5D=253

Space Saver Spare Tyre
If there's not enough room in the spare wheel well for a 235/45R18 or 235/40R19 wheel, (or even the narrower 215/60R16 or 215/55R17 wheel), then there might be enough room for an even narrower 215/60R16 fitted to a 6J rim width (eg. 6Jx16 ET43 5/112 57.1 from the 2WD Karoq). A 215mm width tyre can fit in the spare wheel well of a Superb MK3, so maybe there's a similar amount of room in the Superb MK4. If so, there would be no need to use a 125/70R18 space saver tyre. As you can see in the chart below, a 215/60R16 fitted to a 6J rim is between 11mm to 21mm narrower than the standard Superb MK4 wheel sizes. Actual outside widths of inflated tyres (measured from sidewall to sidewall at the widest point) 215/60R16 fitted to 6Jx16 ET43 rim 215mm (from Karoq) 215/60R16 fitted to 7Jx16 ET43 rim 227mm (from Superb MK4) 215/55R17 fitted to 7Jx17 ET43 rim 226mm (from Superb MK4) 215/55R17 fitted to 7.5Jx17 ET41 rim 232mm (from Superb MK4) 235/45R18 fitted to 8Jx19 ET44 rim 236mm (from Superb MK4) 235/40R19 fitted to 8Jx19 ET44 rim 235mm (from Superb MK4)

18 inch Tires Elroq 50
What are all the Skoda approved wheel sizes for the vehicle? These will be listed in the car's CoC (Certificate of Conformity). There might be a white label on the car listing the tyre pressures for all of the Skoda approved wheel sizes. 235/55R19 and 255/50R19 are listed in the Elroq owner's manual as suitable for snow chains. The VW iD Buzz uses 18" wheels for some models, ie. 235/60R18 8Jx18 ET45 front and 255/55R18 8.5Jx18 ET56 rear. Like the Elroq, the iD Buzz also uses a 170PS electric motor for its entry level model/s. On the iD Buzz, 8Jx18 ET45 5/112 57.1 and 8.5Jx18 ET56 5/112 57.1 are available as steel rims and maybe alloy rims. They might also fit the Elroq, but you would have to check. Even if they both fitted, it's possible that a 255/55R18 8.5Jx18 ET56 rear wheel (from the iD Buzz) might not have enough inside clearance on the inside for snow chains, but again you would have to check. vRS brakes on a Scout?
What size discs are currently fitted? The Octavia MK3 150PS Scout uses 288x25mm front brake discs, whereas the more powerful Scout uses the bigger 312x25mm front brake discs. 272x10mm rear brake discs are used with both the 288x25mm and 312x25mm front brake discs. In case there are exceptions to the above, always check the car's build codes to be sure what is fitted to any particular car.

Snow chains on rear wheels only – Kodiaq 4x4 with 19" wheels?
Here's what it says about snow chains in the owner's manual for the Kodiaq MK2. Notice that it says, "Mount snow chains on the front wheels (215/65R17 6.5Jx17 ET38) only". Some of the 17" alloy rims have a specification of 7Jx17 ET40, so they aren't allowed to be used with snow chains because the rim width is not 6.5J and the offset is not ET38. Snow chainsUseSnow chains improve handling the vehicle on icy or snowy roads. What you should be mindful ofWARNING Risk of accident and tyre damage Do not use chains on sections without snow and ice. Both the gknautomotive and Kilen/Lesjofors online spring catalogues think that it's a 1K0511115BH rear spring for a standard ride height Superb MK2 2.0TSI hatchback. If the Superb MK2 has build codes 1JA and 0YD, then the rear spring is 1K0511115BH. One white paint mark and two orange paint marks also means that it's 1K0511115BH.
