  1. £450 FC with Protected NCD, me as main driver, misses as named Im 23, she is 25 Cheaper than my Fabia
  2. Plans are on hold for the moment. Possibly selling up and moving to Seatcupra.net... Thanks for the info anyway
  3. Never fitted my stops that came in the box, and had no steering issues either. As for road imperfections, I cant comment because i try my best to avoid them all
  4. Have wanted one since about a month after buying my Fabia. But at 21, doubt I could insure it back then, or even afford it Lovely looking cars, just need to wait and see what the car is like, and if we can do a deal
  5. Used them before for other cars, and they were all wrong. Dont fancy using them again...
  6. Does anyone have, or know where I can get wiring diagrams for interior lights, and also headlights, specifically the sidelight circuits TIA Mikey
  7. There is Eibachs and 17" wheels Only issue I see is that you will need a wheel alignment afterwards. My camber and toe were both out after lowering and fitting Cupra console bushes. Im with sleithykeithy too, I think Eibachs actually improved the ride from OE springs. Definately handles better, and isnt too low you, so you dont have to avoid speed bumps
  8. Coming into my work as a trade in, and have first refusal Basically, anything specific to look out for or prone to failure, and how much should I be looking to pay? Tis the 225 model And, who wants to either loan me the money? Also, what can i realistically expect to get for an 03/53, 77k, and as per sig. Either as private or trade in?
  9. Got a knock from the front of my vrs and approx 15mph. Already had cupra console bushes etc, ARB links are fine, which makes me think its the top mounts that are causing it... Is there any way of checking them while still on the car?
  10. Wouldnt get you far on a standard clutch though...
  11. I fiited my wheels before lowering, as my tyres were well fooked... EDIT: And it wont let me put them underneath, just automatically go side by side Before:After:
  12. I have 215/40R17's, speedo is now bang on with what GPS says Its lowered on Eibachs, and have had no rubbing issues etc
  13. Used ultraleds myself a while ago, and my bulbs only lasted about 3 months, never thought of sending them back for a refund, but from the looks of things, looks like i saved myself a lot of hassle TBH... Seems there customer service is fairly lacking... DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - LED rear stop lights DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - Warning! Ultraleds. OK, so its on a Disco 3 website, but there are a few threads on there slating there customer service etc, and not getting refunds for faulty bulbs. Enough to convince me not to spend my hard earned there
  14. Just had some 'advice' about how to de-carbon an engine No thanks
  15. DS2500 pads are horrendously expensive, which is why i settled on Redstuff ceramic pads, less than half the price Im running 312's with D&G discs and RS pads, but only because the discs came with the calipers, otherwise it would have been OE discs for me too
  16. Um, yes you do. Used to work at Merc on the commercials, and the only thing with drums was under 7.5 ton... Everything heavier than that had discs all round... I wasnt happy with my 288's, too prone to fade when making progress, and lacked pedal feel. Never had fade with 312's and now have confidence when stamping on the middle pedal
  17. I picked one up on Ebay for £20 brand new...
  18. Genuine OE discs and pads. Left me with a few brown trouser moments wondering if i would stop in time. Inspired no confidence whatsoever, and also had them fade on a 'brisk' drive... Only had as much ventilation as standard, both on standard and aftermarket wheels, made no difference, although they dont have FS111 calipers... But, to the OP, drilled and grooved discs will make no difference to a standard car. Only reason i got them is i upgraded to 312's and these were included in the price. Cant really fault them, although braking from 'higher' speeds, they do make a droaning noise. Also have drilled and grooved discs on the back, although they are only on to match the fronts, and also help keep he rear pads deglazed as my handbrake was pish Since going to 312's though, never had fade once and when you hit the pedal, you know you will stop
  19. I had 288's on a fabia, and they were absolutely ****...
  20. Hope everyone swithces off this carp now in protest
  21. Tinted headlights and indicator bulbs from the rear of a Supercharged Range Rover...
  22. Its already been mapped. I know it should really be done again to get any real benefits out of it, but saving that for a better clutch and a bigger turbo etc
  23. I take it back, i have noticed a difference... A hell of a lot less smoke. Usually at night when you pull away from a junction, you can see a huge puff of smoke out the back. Now there is next to nothing, and that is even with running a remap... And it only sounds different when you are standing at the back of the car. Sounds a bit burblier...
