I have adaptive lane guidance on mine, what you can't seem to do on the new MY21 cars is activate any features that were not originally active on the car from the factory.

Not sure you can activate anything yourself on a new car at the moment as Škoda has stopped it. But I am sure people are looking at how to get past the software stopping it

I had success but now it does not seem to work. Tried twice with no route being shown in the car. No idea why it work the other week or why it won’t work now. Guess it is very hit and miss on getting it to work. Seems that a lot of thing with the MIB3 system are like that

Probably because the new MIB3 system seems rubbish compared to the older versions as far as I have worked out. Many things that people with the older version can do don’t seem to work on the newer version, and I don’t think it has been tested that well with all the issues people seem to have with it

My nav database is on 20.11 and I am in the Uk with the Columbus system. Wonder why people have different versions in the same country, you would expect everyone to end up on the latest version.

My app last updated on the 17th March so not sure if that makes a difference, but whatever has happened, hopefully it will make setting a destination on the built in satnav much easier now.

Went out to the car today and when I started it it had message about a destination I had sent to it with the option to cancel or use it. It was one I had sent a week ago to see if it was working but it didn't show up then, but it did today. When I got where I was going today, I sent another destination to the car from the app and when I got to the car it was on the screen so it looks like it works now, at least for my car. Not had any notifications of any updates to the car recently.

Mine is a MIB3 also as car new in November. Only difference I can see is mine is a Columbus info system and I guess the country as yours is l/h drive and mine is a UK r/h drive model. Who knows with Skoda.

Mine does not do that. I have the same VC layout as your picture with the Columbus info system, but no matter which nav app I use on my phone via Apple CarPlay, I do not get any direction info on the dash and have to keep it open on the main screen. If I go to another screen on the Columbus display, say radio, I will hear the directions through the speaker but no info on the dash. Wonder if it is due to it being a UK model car.

Hope everyone who as any of there faults, the speed signs showing in KPH not MPH and travel assist faults make sure to highlight them to Skoda. Otherwise they may think it only affects a few cars and may not bother to fix it.

The dealer have said that skoda have informed them that a software fix is on the way. Still not sure if it is for the travel assist fault or the road signs in KPH. My travel assist fault only seems to occur when the heated steering wheel if on.

Worked it out. You have to press and hold an icon for a few seconds then drag it to swap position with another icon. I tried before but thought an edit screen would appear when pressing but it does not.

Just wondered if anyone has had the icons on their columbus infotainment system rearange themselves. Started the car today and went to select the media icon only to find it had moved from the place it has been since we got the car. No updates recently or new icons haved appeared. Just wondered what has made them decide to move about and if they can be manually rearanged.

How close were you to the car with the key. Maybe the car can sense the key so that is why the car can be unlocked from the inside. Maybe try locking the car and trying after a few minutes with the key out of range of the car. Not tried checking if it can be unlocked from the inside only that it can’t be unlocked from the outside with the key in the house where we keep it.

I still have the fault. Was told it was the steering wheel and it would be replaced, but that was changed to a software fix and I am still waiting. I have noticed that it seems to fault when the heated steering wheel is on, and as soon as I turn the heating off the fault clears.

Wish I did. Seems easier to use compared to the MIB3 version.

My car was online when tried it, was even connected to the house wifi on one attempt but cannot get any route I setup either on the app or the connect website to transfer to the car, or at least find it in the car nav system even though the app and web site both say sent to car. I have asked Skoda on Twitter and will see if they have any idea on where it is or how to get it to work

Those 3 dots are for options when you have already started a journey on the satnav, only appear once you have started your route.

My system display is totaly different from yours. I definitly don't get that destination import screen, any online destination options or the lower menu bar that you have, must be due to being an MIB3 system. Wish they had stuck with the older sysem to be honest.

I dont get anything like that. I have looked and selected every option I can find but unable to find the destination I have sent to the car.

Just tried it again but cannot find the route I sent to the car via the connect app. No idea how it worked the last time I did it but no luck this time. I tried sending more than one route via the connect app to the car, but nowhere in the car Nav system or any other system, including smartlink option as suggested, could I find it. Maybe someone else knows how to do it or where to find it.

I have the MIB3. I was a little while ago I did it so I will try it again and send something to my car and let you know how I get on. Have you had the dealer activate Skoda connect so you can use all the options like lock and unlock the car, just wondered if that needs to be done.

I am sure it sends it to the cars satnav and it will be under the house button on the satnav, the screen with lots of increasing circles with an arrow in the middle. On mine it appears as a destination with coorodinates not a name.

Yes you are correct. It is just Bluetooth/ Apple car play or android car play (don’t have android so don’t know what it is officially called) and the usb c ports. Also you posted in the wrong section but I am sure someone can sort that out.

When we start the car we get a screen showing the last user with the option to change use. If you leave the screen it will disappear and the car will be set to the last user. We do not have the personalise option on the car as only have 2 keys and no electric seats just 2 users set up in the car.
