I am sure it sends it to the cars satnav and it will be under the house button on the satnav, the screen with lots of increasing circles with an arrow in the middle. On mine it appears as a destination with coorodinates not a name.

Yes you are correct. It is just Bluetooth/ Apple car play or android car play (don’t have android so don’t know what it is officially called) and the usb c ports. Also you posted in the wrong section but I am sure someone can sort that out.

When we start the car we get a screen showing the last user with the option to change use. If you leave the screen it will disappear and the car will be set to the last user. We do not have the personalise option on the car as only have 2 keys and no electric seats just 2 users set up in the car.

Has anyone had the car think it is driving on the other side of the road. Yesterday while driving it reset the headlights to driving on the right and would not let me set them back, maybe not letting me as I was driving at the time, and also the road signs were displaying in KPH a few times. On the return journey I checked the lights were set for left hand driving but on the motorway, with the ACC on, it was slowing me down when I was trying to pass cars, as if it thought I was undertaking not overtaking, see photo. I have had it slow me down when I was coming up to a car and it was like I was going to undertake but the car image was on the other side of the display. I need to take the car into the dealers so will let them know and see if there is a fix but wondered if anyone had the same issue and had sorted it so I could inform the dealer.

My MY21 SE L does not have the drive green screen. Does it depend on your model or engine if you get the option for that screen.

I found the same problem, when I put widgets on the first screen, pressing the home button always brought up the second empty screen. All I did was put the widgets I wanted on the second screen not the first. But I do not really use the the home screen, I just leave it on radio or media so not really bothered.

My nav database is 20.11 it was 20.10 when I got the car and when I looked after an OTA update it had changed.

I fitted both front and rears. Rears easy as only have to remove screws and fit the mud flap using the existing holes and new screws, with the fronts, you have to drill a hole and fit a plug fastener, bottom inside fastener, not just replace screws, although some people have said they didn't drill the hole and the front mug flaps seem nice and secure without it. Ok, let me know if you if you manage to update it via USB. I have tried to manually update but could not get it to update via USB or manage to update the radio logos, all downloaded from the update site, only had the one OTA update the other week since getting the car.

I don't think they said they have been able to update it via USB-C, just they were going to try leaving the USB drive in for longer to see if it would update. I have not seen anyone post that they definitly have been able to use the USB-C port to update any MIB3 system yet, only people saying they have had over the air updates to the systen, like I have had.

I managed to change the name that appears in the car by changing my nickname on the Skoda connect website. You need to select your profile on the top r/h corner, select edit details then it shows your nickname.

Wish I was then I would get the vaccine but quite a lot of years to go before I hit near that age 😁 Not been out in the car since the update, maybe it will fix my traffic sign system and stop it sometimes showing the speed limit in KPH and not MPH..

My car was delivered in October. This was the first update I have had. Like I said, I found it in the notification page after it had informed me that one was available but could not download as I was driving.

No idea what has changed then. Only thing for me is it is showing a different nav database number.

Mine has updated the navagation database from 20.10 to 20.11as far as I can see. Only difference on the system info page. To see if you have the update availiable, look in notifications, that is where I found the update. On the infotainment screen, pull down the little line at the top of the screen for favourites and select notifications.

Cheers for that link. Don’t think it is not something I will be attempting with my car as it is only a few months old and don’t fancy removing the door trim. A little bit too much effort just for a couple of lights, now if it was just remove the reflector and insert a light, I would be happy to do that 😁

Thanks for the info. I had hoped using that kit would change the red reflectors to lights, but that is why I asked if anyone had done it to see if it was possible to do. Guess I will have to just be happy with reflectors in the doors and no puddle lights.

Has anyone replaced the reflectors with lights. Before I try removing it to find out, does anyone know if the new models MY21 have the door light wiring fitted when you have reflector not a light. Was looking to replace the reflector with a light if the wiring is there

I have been told my car is faulting the steering wheel hands off sensor, nothing do do with what was faulting the previous time. My dealer is waiting for more details from Skoda about the next steps, they did phone to ask if when I had the faults come up if the heated steering wheel was on and I believe it was for me.
