  1. Mine lays flat when opened. Looks like it might be catching on the seat belt buckle to me.
  2. This is the one I bought after the last time you posted it. Best £20 I could have spent. It works flawlessly other than it occasionally forgets to connect but manually connecting bluetooth normally jumps it back into life again.
  3. There's a couple of sites where you can look up part numbers; Octavia Parts Catalog - 7zap Octavia Parts Catalog - LLLParts Links probably go to the 2019 model year so you might need to go up a level first.
  4. They are reasonably rare compared to the DSG boxes but they do exist (several on auto trader at the moment). I personally don’t see the point of a manual Octavia though… if a more connected driving experience is what you’re after, buy a GTI? I was simply pointing out that the manual also has a VAQ diff. No-one buys any Octavia for "a more connected driving experience".
  5. Next to signal strength? Its the phone battery charge.
  6. It also comes in a manual with the VAQ diff.
  7. Yes. That's what I said - or at least what I meant. It takes another activation (or 2 or more) to get it to park itself in the correct place.
  8. They're a bit **** aren't they. I had mine replaced a little over 2½ years ago under warranty. The new one is now occasionally stopping mid sweep. I didn't renew the service package / warranty as I was thinking of selling so I just avoid using the rear wiper. I might take it out as some point and see if I can clean it up as suggested in the thread below
  9. I'm not sure how definitive these part catalogues are (I can't find my fully LED rear light for example) but that's not a part number listed here or here. You're probably going to have to take the old light out again and double check.
  10. Best thing to do is look on something like 7zap or LLL parts for the part numbers https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/ https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/OCT
  11. My Assy 6s did an excellent job of protecting my wheels from an errant kerb yesterday. Was expecting the worst but there's just a black rubber mark on the rim.
  12. I also had mine replaced at just over 3 years old under the approved used warranty. Annoyingly, I decided not to renew the warranty when it ran out earlier this year and its just started happening again. At the moment its only if I turn it off mid-sweep but I'm sure it'll get worse. I need to take a look at it before it gets any worse.
  13. You still haven't given an example of exactly what the problem is 🤷‍♂️ ETA; a pic of the windows folder in Details view (so it shows the track number) and infotainment screen showing the problem would help.
  14. For example? Looking at the screenshot you've posted above you have both the band name and album name as the folder name. This is not how you'd ordinarily do it. Under Music (on Windows), you'd have a band subfolder, then in that subfolders you'd have one subfolder for each album. E.g.: Music | +-> The Who | +-> Live in Amsterdam | +-> Woodstock 1969 | +-> The Rolling Stones | +-> Sticky Fingers etc...
  15. Not quite picturing where it is but could it not be the drain holes for the scuttle?
  16. Hello. Welcome to the fold 👋
  17. The jacking points are on the seal seam directly below the arrows. You can see where they're reinforced so probably have a few cm either way. You need a slotted jacking puck to go on top of the jack. Something like these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273453837723
  18. Navigation to the station list and click the refresh button top right.
  19. Mine fits directly into the wheel well. There's then a foam insert that contains the jack etc. https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/products/copy-of-spare-wheel-kit-octavia-iii-vrs
  20. I had a similar issue when I first got my Octavia. When turning on cruise I would sometimes get the orange light. Eventually figured out that it was the switch on the stalk. If I flicked it quickly cruise engaged, if I flicked it slowly, it didn't. Took it to the dealer expecting a new stalk. They tried the same thing on another car (never even bothered checking for codes) and got exactly the same result so it became a case of "they all do that sir". So, one of two things; flick the switch faster or possibly replace the stalk.
  21. It might help if you explained how it doesn't work. What happens when you flick the switch? Does the odometer display flip over to cruise? Does the Cruise Control light light? What colour is it? Do you get any error messages in the display? Stealers 🙄 What do you suggest they do? Randomly prod things and charge the OP for their time?
  22. They'll be in here somewhere: https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/
  23. Ah, yes. I misread the lines. Reused the mounting bolts.
  24. When I did mine new bolts were supplied with the pads.
  25. LED bulbs are generally not dimmable unless specifically designed to be. Can't see why car bulbs would be. You need to buy lower lumen bulbs.
