What are your rim specs please? And no spacers on the rear?

Speaking of wheels, someone ran into my superb sportline at a carpark yesterday and damaged the front bumper and front alloy (Vega). Does anyone know where you can get one new 19inch Vega Alloy from (either in Aus or OS that ship to Aus)? Aussie Dealer (stealer) is wanting a criminal AUD$1300 for one new rim. And yet Skoda UK only charge AUD$600 (but don't deliver to AUS).

Very interesting find in the manual there for the Aussie Spec but I wonder why the Aussie dealers haven’t picked up on this and advertising the fact it’s a more powerful/quicker car? doesn’t make remapping as attractive now either if it really is 400Nm from stock.

I have VLT20 on the fronts and VLT70 on the privacy glass rears. When first installed it was perfect however under some ambient light situations the fronts can look a touch darker than the rears now which I don't like the look of. I did originally ask for VLT50 on the rears but the tinter said that would be too dark with the privacy glass to match the rears. Here's my pic.

These are stock 19*8J Rims? Is that pic with the 15mm spacer in the front? Weird that your rears poked more with the 15mm spacers. My sportline has about 12-15mm to give on the front and about 20-22mm to give on the rears before flush with the guards. This is with 19" stock vega wheels (19*8 ET44).

What's your APR Stage 2+ tune pumping through the DSG?

Not so unnerving in Aus as no one keeps left here.

Great summary and write up. I presume you have the same 6 speed DSG as my MY21 sportline (Australia). You're not concerned about the torque form the JB1 on this gearbox? Did you get the DSG remap when you installed the JB1?

I have a MY20 Superb Sportline (Australia) and it's got a 6 speed DSG. Any ideas which one it would have and why I missed out on the 7 speed? Thinking of Stage 1 remap but also have concerns over DSG allowable torque.

How do you go with it being lowered and towing a boat? I have jetski and was wondering if lowering would affect underbody clearance and/or wheel arch clearance when towing?

I'm in Australia and have the following constant problem with Adaptive Cruise Control. When passing a vehicle on my righthand side (ie i'm in the left lane), the ACC thinks this vehicle on my right is in my lane and it won't pass it without me pushing the accelerator and forcing it to go past. Once I do this it's fine and passes back up to the speed set on the ACC. It never does it when I'm in the right lane and passing the vehicle on my left. Anyone else have this similar issue, particularly in Oz?

What about six speed on 2020 Sportline?

Agree with the loss of SD. Don’t understand why they did this. It’s not like it’s a big cost item. The other thing I don’t like is about half the time my songs playing off the USB revert to the top song in alphabetical order after I start the car (after it’s been turned off for some time). Really annoying when you’re half way through playing an album and you then have to go through the list again to find it and recommence playing. Anyone else have this issue also?

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if you can make the volume of the head unit any louder? VCDS? I like my music quite loud and I just find that even at max volume on the head unit it's just not loud enough. I'm talking about every form of music being played (BT, USB, Radio) apart from the ****ty Apple Car Play which it's volume is just a joke. It's unfortunately a problem with Apple Carplay. Not Skoda.

Great thanks. Are those pics on the rears and have you only put spacers on the rears? My measurements from stock wheels to get flush with guards are about 11-13mm extra offset on fronts and a massive 22-24mm on the rears. So I’m thinking of staggering with 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9 rears or 19x8.5 all round with offset more on the rears. As it’s difficult to find a rim that does 8.5 and 9” wide. And spacers are illegal in QLD, Aus.

These don’t look 8” wide and ET44. They fill our way too much in those pics. Spacers perhaps?
