  1. I get it all the time. Need to take it back to the stealer to get them to sort it out as the beeping is driving me insane.
  2. What ECU tune do you have? That’s a crazy amount of torque. Do you have a DSG tune? Or by standard you mean pure stock DSG?
  3. Thanks but I’m not seeing 600Nm for stock? Or were you meaning just mechanically max value?
  4. Can I ask where you get these figures from please as I’ve seen differently for the DQ250.
  5. Which DSG remap did you go with? Do you have the DQ250? Also what Stage 1 ECU tune do you have? Although do you have a diesel?
  6. I have exactly this. Any tips on how to get ride of it? Annoys the crap out of me!!!
  7. I’m measuring the horizontal offset from the tyre/rim to the guard to workout what new rim spec I can get to fill out the rim/tyre to the guards. Nothing to do with lowering the car.
  8. So I did another measure on the weekend. I measure from the outside face of the guard to the tyre wall, not the rim. Results on all four wheels are: Front drivers side: 18-19mm inside guard Front passenger side: 18-19mm inside guard Rear drivers side: 23-24mm inside guard Rear passenger side: 20-21mm inside guard I have absolutely no idea why the drivers side rear would be different. I checked and rechecked. Makes no sense.
  9. Just found this. Very interesting indeed. Appears that stock TCU is the fastest!! TVS launch control doesn’t look good at all. But could be a lot of wheel spin launching given it’s only a GTI. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HP9ebPhf-EY
  10. Impressive especially given their stock dyno runs match OEM pretty spot on too (meaning dyno is reasonably accurate). I would have thought with 530Nm of torque and 260kW of power you’d be getting better than mid 4’s for 0-60. Low 4’s would have been my expectation. But I’m not complaining.
  11. Nice!! Are these dyno figures from your car or TVS claimed figures?
  12. Here’s a thought. Would the Sportline have a larger front wheel poke than the non Sportline models due to the bigger front brakes/disc? Edit: appears it indeed does.
  13. Can I ask what MY you have? I’ve heard the MY21 ECU is hard to crack.
  14. 220 being the 162tsi in Oz? would appear that the axle setup for the 162 is different to the 206TSI Sportline then
  15. Mine is a 280 Sportline. Although we just call them MY21 Sportline in Aus. Maybe when I’ve taken the measurements on the front the wheel hasn’t been straight. I’ll try and get a straight wheel measurement on both sides to confirm.
  16. No my Stock fronts are Sitting closer to the guards than the rears. By about 10mm by my calcs. So a 23mm poke rim on my fronts would be sticking out from the front guard by around 8-9mm.
  17. Thanks. That equates pretty spot on to my measurements for the rears. Need around 22-24mm poke from stock to sit flush. Although for me this is on the rears. Fronts look less around the 13-15mm. You’ve got the same setup (rims and spacers) front and rear?
  18. Hey nice looking setup with the eibachs and thanks for a brilliant write up. Can I please ask what are your rim/tyre specs are and are you running any spacers? How flush are you to the guards front and rear?
  19. Nope mine is stock Sportline with stock rims. Can’t run spacers. Illegal in Qld, Australia.
  20. Burgertuning believe the JB4 can get around 460-480Nm of torque. anyone think this will cause long term issues with the DQ250 DSG without a TCU tune?
  21. Wow that’s crazy on the front. I’ve done the same and only have around 13-15mm on the fronts and around 22-24mm on the rears. I have a Sportline. That’s why I’m thinking I may have to go to staggered fitment on my rims.
  22. By my calculations your new rims poke about 23mm out past the stock rims. By my measurements this should mean the fronts poke out past the guards? And yet they don't appear to be in your pics?
  23. What’s the dif between JB1 and JB4?
