  1. Thanks for the detailed response. Are you also running spacers as the tyres look relatively flush compared to OEM?
  2. DLA was ticked when I checked.
  3. Which DSG tune did you get? Do they also adjust clamping pressure?
  4. I could have sworn there was different rear springs for a hatch vs wagon to account for the issue the wagon would likely have more loaded weight. Let me check what I have from Eibach. I checked my parts before they were installed: Eibach F11-79-012-04-22 Pro-Kit Rear springs F11-79-008-01-HA Front Springs F11-85-042-03-FA The Eibach information I have doesn't distinguish between wagon or estate in the above, but I do note from the information I have that if your's isn't the 4*4 then you should have E10-79-012-03-22 (which has rears F11-79-008-01-HA and fronts F11-85-041-01-VA which are different). Here's a pic of mine. If you look closely you can see the gap in the wheel arch from the top of the tyre is less in the rear that the front. It's a little harder to see the full gap due to the shadow, but you can see some difference.
  5. I don’t believe mine go left or right when dancing. Only up and down.
  6. I don’t have a photo yet as it’s been torrential rain from the day I got them installed. I’ll see what I can do once the rain goes away. Will also take some measurements once my car is back in my garage next week. yes I got the E10-79-012-04-22. Yours is a Sportline wagon? what are your measurements from hub to arch? Has your headlight distance been affected?
  7. Thanks. It was German Auto who installed the springs. And my car is MY21 so I'd say the later. Thanks I'll send Julian my VIN
  8. Is this a software update by the dealer to get this function? Also did you have to do anything to your normal headlights to gain back the normal light range distance? I have the full LED matrix headlights on the sportline. Edit: Found this: Unfortunately I don't have access to VCDS etc.
  9. I didn't personally but the mechanics who installed the new springs said they did the DCC recalibration (I inquired with them multiple times before accepting their quote that they could/would do it). It rides fine. Just not a happy medium between normal and sport IMO.
  10. So new Eibachs are in. Haven't been able to measure the drop yet as away from my garage where it's relatively flat. Few noticeable changes: gap between arch and top of tyre in the rears looks a lot less than the fronts? rears almost look recessed into the arch, whilst fronts still appear to have a slight gap (which is fine). DCC "Normal" setting I still find a little floaty over bumps at high speed. But "Sport" is very stiff/firm and a little harsh for our Aussie roads now so I'm in a little quandry now Headlights on normal beam less lighting distance, which seems odd given my first dot point above (implies car is lower in the rear than the front) But I definitely prefer the stance now. And it's opened my eyes to probably not going so drastic in the rears for my offset on my new rims I'm eyeing off. BTW - I have a MY21 Sportline Wagon with DCC FYI.
  11. Measurements were taken in my garage so floor is pretty flat/level. but I’ll also measure from centre of hub although I find this measurement even more subjective as you can’t always hold the tape perfectly in the centre of the hub.
  12. Ok so I just received my new Eibachs so thought I’d measure OEM height before new spring install to compare. I have a superb 4*4 Sportline with DCC. OEM height from road to top of wheel arch is 700mm on all wheels apart from my rear passenger side (left hand side as I’m in Oz). This side measures 695mm. I triple checked it. Any reason why it would be 5mm lower?
  13. You running stock/OEM springs or lowered? If lowered (do you also have DCC?) any scraping issues with those rims/offset/tyres?
  14. They do this in Aus as well? I’ve not heard of this when getting quotes for factory fitted towbar.
  15. You do have to remember the DSG is essentially just like a manual clutch. So think how and what the clutch has to do with the engine to not stall as you’re braking and accelerating in stop start traffic.
  16. So what did you have done?
  17. The bigger piece of the puzzle is how much of that 160k miles was stop start city traffic driving or non-stop highway driving?
  18. This was exactly my point in asking the question. Sport mode should have a different compression.
  19. I got 111 oil temps the other day towing my jetski in 34 deg Brisbane heat. Spoke to my mechanic and he said nothing to be concerned about, especially given I was towing. He said he's seen 120 deg in remapped cars. He did say he's used Ceratec before and noticed a good drop in oil temps, so I might give that a go coming into summer now here in Brisbane.
  20. I think I may have asked this before but do you have DCC? If so, did it scrub even with the DCC set to sport?
  21. Are these the swirls that were done by the dealer's car wash? If so I'd be charging them an arm and a leg to repair.....looks like they washed your car with sand paper instead of the two bucket water and sponge method!!!!
  22. Sorry for the thread revival but the link doesn’t appear to work. Any chance you can post working link again please.
