  1. This is the kit. https://shop.wingsskoda.co.uk/products/skoda-spare-wheel-set-octavia-iv
  2. There are different polystyrene pieces for the option with a repair kit (as on your picture) and for the option with spare kit. The option with repair kit also doesn't come with the jack since you don't need it. So beside the spare tire, you also need to by the corresponding polystyrene piece with the rest of the tools. The polystyrene piece comes over the spare tire.
  3. I would be really surprised if installation of that little led light depends on a market of delivery.
  4. My car had an issue with this led light being off and on randomly. I think it was sorted out with one of the updates.
  5. I don't see a lot of use of manual shifting in the city. But you can buy some decent extensions which make such shifting easier. Shift by wire works fine. Didn't notice any issues with it.
  6. Just my comment about the manual mode. YOu still have manual mode. You just engage it with pressing on of the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. And when you will do stage 1 (or 2 or 3), I believe you can also get a full manual mode (no auto up-shifting or auto kick-down).
  7. Corrected. Sorry for my bad language.
  8. You British people. 😁 My winter temp is always set between 21 and 24 and always on auto. 😅 In the summer it is between 20 and 22.
  9. In some countries with lower emission standards, newer VAG cars (2020 and onwards, not sure till when) were delivered still with a EA888 gen 3 engine. Like New Zealand, Australia and as according to your post, also Mauritius.
  10. Do you have a picture of your engine bay? Gen 3 engine has a different position of the oil cap than gen 4 engine.
  11. I really doubt you will be able to fit that size on Octavia without heavy modifications. ET58 is too large to fit. And then you also need to take into account that not all tires from different brands are the same width. I currently have 235/40/19 and on et45 / 19" wheels and I had issues with tires rubbing the front inner arch liner. My car is lowered with KW coilovers. I had to lift the car for 5mm in the front.
  12. Would be surprised if they are. I never heard anyone anywhere mentioning this. And when I changed the battery in the key for the first time, there was a regular battery inside. Not a charging one.
  13. Hi, You need to route a new wire and you also need some other parts to make this retrofit. I have attached a DIY manual for this. It is in German language. But I guess you can use a google translate to make it work. USB C Anschluss Innenspiegel nachrüsten.pdf
  14. Don't be. This things happen unfortunately. With all cars.
  15. @cjgreaves41 yeah. Same side of the car. Should be changed under warranty if the car still has it.
  16. Which one? Driver side? If yes, then it's pretty common. Saw quite a lot of complaints on multiple FB groups. I have changed mine since it was like this for the whole 23/24 winter. Unfortunately on my own expenses since it was already out of warranty.
  17. Hmmm I really doubt that they did any respraying when they changed mine. They changed it together with a regular service. I waited approx. 2h altogether.
  18. I also had issue with mine. But luckily it was replaced under warranty.
  19. Can you post a picture of what exactly you mean? A picture of a youtube video? The different speedo layout is changed with these two buttons.
  20. Don't get me wrong. I would still expect to be able to turn of the fake sound. Same as it was possible in the mk4. I'm really happy I was able to turn if off completely on mine since I got a new exhaust.
  21. Could be they changed the way how the sound is generated? And they replaced the soundaktor with the sound coming from the speakers?
  22. Could be ok now. But the question is for how long. You can check this tunning guide by Bartek. They recommend replacing the clutch with torque figures over 500 nm. https://www.bar-tek.com/tuning-guide-for-2.0l-ea888-evo4-265-hp Racingline also recommends replacing the clutch for stage 2 high torque maps. https://www.racinglinetuning.com/ea888-4-garrett-software "Finally, for 6MT manual transmission cars, the Lower Torque calibration will protect the stock factory clutch - a known weak point in these cars running high power. Then you can upgrade to High Output for free in future if you fit a stronger aftermarket clutch. " I can't recommend you a clutch since I have a DSG transmission.
