  1. I've a petrol dsg vRS and loving it so far. Picked it up in January and only properly stayed driving it this week. Few software niggles but nothing major
  2. Thanks. I was aware of that but it does look like some things can still be changed.
  3. I'm never going to go crazy on modifying and to be honest this is the second mod as I've a protective vinyl on the roof for roof bars but changed the start up animation today from this https://photos.app.goo.gl/N1YKzxgZ7esiD8zx5 to this https://photos.app.goo.gl/jfruPo24iHs5jkEi9 Now I like the blue but I don't like that the vRS has gone. Done with Carista but now I know it will accept some coding I'm really tempted to get OBD eleven...
  4. I'm sure when you put it in neutral the auto hold disengages? Surely my car needs to in neutral if I'm being towed? Not that I'm anticipating that happening but surely that's a reason to keep it?
  5. Still no need to put it in neutral. It's an automatic.
  6. I thought I would but the switch works. Why on earth would you put an automatic with start stop in neutral? Disengages to autohold for one.
  7. Very happy with mine too. Couple of minor software niggles but as above they're being fixed. Did people know you can use voice control to turn on the heated seat? Loving driving it. Up to nearly 500 miles now thanks for being back at work.
  8. Yes I'm logged in and the primary user. I've set it to automatically log me in (assigned to the key) and it often doesn't. Equally the Skoda connect will occasionally log me out. Only done 309 miles in 2 months so hard to comment much. S/w 1688 here. Not sure on HW
  9. I'm having the same problem. Think it's a software thing. Hopefully be fixed in future updates
  10. I think so but I watched so many before buying the car I could be wrong.
  11. More in reference to the previous comment about potholes destroying the 19s. Plenty of pot holes up here in Cumbria. I'm sure the 19s will be fine but I honestly would've gone for the 18s and a bit more rubber given the choice.
  12. N I'm sure the carwow review said something about 90% of the traction being sent to one wheel if needed but could be making that up. I'm sure they're all individually controlled should traction be an issue.
  13. If he was in the UK I'd happily swap for the 19s on my vRS. Not sure how long they're going to last...
  14. Those wheels look alright. What size are they Janmand?
  15. Go for it. I really like mine. Yes there are going to be software bugs on new cars but they are being ironed out and as in the other thread less are appearing on newer cars.
  16. The latter. I prefer it to be honest. Seen so many issues with proper tpms on other forums. This system works and is less of a pain if you're changing wheels etc.
  17. Yes! Thought it was just where I was parked. Looks like it needs a drain hole.
  18. I just got a local vinyl place to put a clear wrap on mine. Don't know why they're naked paint. So easily scratched if you use the boot.
  19. Rear wiper won't be permanent live. I'm sure there will be one though.
  20. The USB c won't give power when the ignition is off so no good for those that want parking modes etc. Most people use the rear wiper fuse I think.
  21. I only wish going for a drive just because was allowed. Glad to hear you made it out of hospital on your feet rather than in a box!
  22. You can drive for an essential journey to the shop though. I know the feeling though. Think I'm on 250 miles in mine l in over a month. Normally do that in a week or so.
  23. To have the cam and WiFi on when the ignition is off would soon eat the battery
  24. Mine have condensation in. I've read other people saying it is normal because led headlights do get hotter so aren't sealed like halogens.
  25. Faulty unit. It's happening in the golf too. Think it's a return to the garage for it to be replaced job.
