  1. Always the way. I'd have put leather seats in my vRS but I'm impatient 🤣
  2. Fantastic review. I've a petrol estate and have to agree it's a great car. Since using mine daily it seems to not log me out nearly as often as it did initially. Managed 38mpg on a motorway run today.
  3. The electric load cover on my Passat just meant it would retract half way when you opened the boot. Didn't do anything else. You then had to manually close it
  4. Not at the minute. The general opinion is that this is down to emissions testing.
  5. Had one on my Passat. Don't have one on the vRS. I liked it in lots of ways. Brighter, nice to have open in summer, kids can look out of it and I could see the kayaks on the roof. Downside was it rattled towards the end of its life. Although I'm super picky about rattles. If you're not bothered get one. They are nice.
  6. I'm using the thule bars from my Passat. I think any feet that fit flush rails should be Ok.
  7. Think my 3 would have to be 1 power 2 looks 3 power
  8. Yes it's a soft reset. Hold power for 15 seconds or so.
  9. You can hold the power button on the radio to reset it. Might be easier than turning off the ignition. I've had my p30 not playing any sound sometimes. Android auto isn't the best to be fair. Yours sounds more like the car though. Get it booked in
  10. Closest alternative would be using the speed limiter rather than the ACC. It is a shame you can't turn off the adaptive bit. Radar in my last car went and couldn't use it at all annoyingly.
  11. The manual won't tell you where to place deflectors, the deflectors will.
  12. I've deactivated Laura. Fox's issue sounds a little more serious.
  13. To be driving on the right and right hand traffic are two opposing things. I drive on the left. The traffic is to my right.
  14. Ah sorry thought it was done remotely. All good then. Enjoy the mods
  15. How does he access your cars module? Do you need vcds? Or just a laptop?
  16. Mine too. I think it could be a mistake it's available to us
  17. I hope you're on commission. He might get a few customers now. What did you need at your end?
  18. The MK4 are flush rails. Unlikely they'll fit if MK3 was raised.
  19. Sure the kids are the reason you want wipe-able back seats 😉
  20. It's not car specific. Doesn't look good enough to leave on all the time almost like a seat apron. Does the job when I'm wet after kayaking in summer and can't be bothered getting changed. If you find anything decent let me know 🤣
  21. OTA updates could cause issues if interrupted so I'd imagine most serious/ big updates will remain dealer jobs. Bad enough when your laptop reboots mid way through the day, could you imagine the car doing it on the outside lane of the M6
  22. That's very odd then. Like you say think it'll drain the battery
  23. I haven't noticed this but then I don't really look at the key. I'd say you need to turn off kessy as anyone could certainly walk up to your car and unlock it if the key is still in range.
  24. I've got a neoprene seat cover I just throw over the seat when I'm a bit damp. I think they'll be fine. Leather will no doubt become an option eventually but who knows when with the current climate.
  25. All I can see that's unique to Carista so far that isn't in the normal options is change the start up animation and turn off beep on boot opening. Bonnet has to be popped for them to work. The start up had three options that I could see even though it said there were 8. The standard red. Green that said Skoda then scout. Nice colour but wrong model. Then the blue that said Skoda then the badge as shown. Would like the vRS logo with the blue so I'll keep looking. Not much on the lights menu at the minute but they're clearly working on things.
