So the latest in a long line of faults with my car is a low coolant temp issue. I know some petrol VAG cars had issues with leaking water pumps. Is this a thing in the diesels as well?

mines booked into the dealer next Monday to have it uploaded. I have a raft of other faults though that aren't software related.

How do you do a soft reset?

Did your travel assist bug involve getting an orange warning on the left of the dash saying travel assist currently unavailable and also another fault saying emergency assist unavailable. That then clear themselves just so they can continually beep? 😂

Fantastic! Hopefully it's all sorted for you. I'm on software version 1803, so I'll be calling the dealer to see if they'll book me in tomorrow.

I have only the climate sync problem. My headlights and bluetooth work fine. Think my car was built in May 2021.

Keep us posted mate, I'm in the same boat as you! Travel assist is pretty much useless at the minute.

It's live right now? Hopefully I get it soon as these faults are really annoying. Funny my car has always had this headlight bug! Does it stop the mph/kmph issues?

It'll be interesting to see what they do about my email. I've told them I'm not leaving it in again until there is a proper update from Skoda. There's no point in them uploading the same software over and over again hoping something will magically change lol

This is some of my email to Skoda... lol 1. Car is converting MPH road signs to KMPH when using Travel Assist or Adaptive cruise - I.E. 60MPH signs are seen as 60 KMPH and as such the car is slowing to 37MPH. 37MPH will show in the cruise speed indicator while 60 is shown in the speed sign display. Happens for all speeds. 2. The 'SYNC' function in climate never stays active after the car is turned off and back on. 3. Occasionally the infotainment will not start. It gets stuck on 'Loading Settings'. Fixed by turning the car off, waiting a few minutes for everything to fully power down, then restarting. 4. Occasionally the speakers make a loud popping noise. 5. Satnav refuses to remember settings after a power cycle. It will not save favourite locations, history etc and it will not save the speech guidance as off. 6. When using ACC/Travel assist on dual carriageways my car occasionally brakes for a car I'm overtaking in the left hand lane. On the cruise control display in the dash the other car is shown highlighted white even though it's not in my lane (Cars that aren't detected as an obstacle are shown as grey). Tapping the accelerator pedal will make the display ignore the other car and allow me to pass as normal. Doesn't happen on every dual carriageway, it's almost like the car thinks I'm on a single lane road? 7. Reversing camera sometimes doesn't activate.

Car is nice, infotainment is utter tripe.

Mine was in from Monday to Wednesday this week to fix these issues - It's no better off after the dealer having it for that long.

I keep getting told they are waiting for a software update from SKoda....

So I had another couple of faults with mine. Worst being the infotainment system failing to turn on. They fixed that with a hard reset and my car went in yesterday for a further check. They've told me Skoda are aware of the faults and many customers are having them. There is a fix on the way, but they unfortunately can't give a date on when that will be.

Mines back from the dealer. No difference at all lol. These are the system details. I assume they should have updated to a higher version?

Mine has gone in today for an update - I have occasional stuck on 'loading settings' issues, the kph/mph fault, breaking while overtaking when using travel assist and it doesn't remember all my satnav/climate control settings. Will it come back better or worse?

Race blue for me. Red and white where the other colours I’d considered.

It doesn't save on mine either. Supposedly a software update fixes this.

Do these updates have anything to do with stopping the adaptive cruise braking when it sees a car in the lane next to the one I'm travelling in?

I'd appreciate it! The item in the shop has some features my VRS already has - door lights turning red when opened etc. I was curious what £44 would get me, if anything lol
