I guess the rear sensors/camera must be linked in as well, as that is the only time it happens to me, never had a front emergency brake event, but turning it off has stopped it happening when reversing down my drive...

Had mine turned down to minimum, still used to go off occasionally backing down my drive, so now turned it off, not a fan of all these gizmos on modern cars, driven for 50 years without them.....

Thanks Nottslan .....Did a long trip and locking / unlocking via door handles now working, hope it stays like that.....

I do lots of short trips so this maybe the problem, will go for a longer run later, but the Skoda connect lite app is reporting 14.6v battery voltage

Thanks, changed both key battery's last week as it flashed up in car to change them....

My Karoq has today started to fail to unlock or lock when using the door handle, both sides of the car, using either of my two keys, but the doors will lock or unlock by the buttons on both keys, anybody had this problem and is there an easy fix?

Yesterday I had notification on my phone of a software update for connect lite, it said it will update next time it connects in the car, now nothing works, reinstalled the app, removed and replugged in sender unit, nothing connects now, anybody else had this happen or any ideas...tia

Yeah, years ago was the last time I had one using the lace up method, fitted great, maybe a fruit less task to find one that is anygood by the sound of it.

Has anybody managed to find a steering wheel cover that's a good fit for a Karoq SE L 21 model year, bought one from Amazon that's just gone back, diameter is ok, it's the thickness of the wheel, the cover is to narrow to wrap round it...tia

Can anybody confirm that turning off the interior alarm can be done as the manual says, by pressing the lock button on the key twice, within 2 seconds...tia

Agree...left mine plugged in and no further movement from 21.11..

Do you think 22.7 is in the same update, so best to leave the USB Key plugged in, to see the outcome?

Downloaded the latest update and after 4 days the Navigation database has gone from 21.7 to 21.11, not sure if that is it or whether to just leave the USB key plugged in..

My radio has been coming on randomly without touching anything, I know you can mute it from the steering wheel, but I want to turn it off completely, if you turn it off by pressing the left button it turns off the whole system (Amundson infotainment) any ideas?

It's a pain that Skoda will not put that update online for customers to update it themselves, myself, like others have trouble getting a dealer to update it, as we are faced with the dealer answer "there is no fault recorded in the system" cannot update it, Skoda customer services are no help either..

As there is only one Skoda dealer in Winchester I cannot say I received the same service from them, I recently had my Karoq serviced there and reported MIB 3 issues at booking in and was told on the phone it probably needed a software update, when I got the car back I was told they have not updated the software as they could not reproduce it and it was not logged in the vehicle system, so thumbs down from me...

What about paint and bodywork inspection, I'm used to having a service book where paint and bodywork got stamped every year at its service, I have the paperwork after my Karoqs service that shows the line drawing of the vehicle, only the tyre depth boxes are filled in, all other items relating to bodywork / paint are not filled in, does that mean it is not checked by Skoda at first service?

That was it Chris, had 3 notifications there about not renewing "my Skoda", so it looks like it doubled it to 6, strange behaviour with this infotainment system everywhere..lol

Just notice the No 6 on my screen top right hand side (see pic), yesterday it went to No 4, today it is back to No 6, I know in the past there was a symbol appeared there that was something to do with updates, is this the same.?

Just had my car in all day for its first service and reported two of the faults in the above tpi, quoted the tpi number and asked for them to do a software update, 3 pm email from garage, cannot reproduce and not logged in cars system, told them I had a picture taken this morning of the headlight switching, I was told no good and after a long conversation I just got, bring it in when it happens again, well that could be a never ending trip until it logs on the car system, gave up with the garage, phoned Skoda and that was another waste of a few minutes of my life, hence this is my first and last Skoda....

E mailed the garage re the update, goes from a while I wait 1st service to a we need the car all day, decision decisions...😉

Very informative posts phope, of the symptoms listed I have two, no overair downloads and the headlight message, I will ask my dealer for the update re your advice , but I noticed under workshop findings it says "The customer statement can be reproduced", as the headlight message is intermittent and map download has never happened overair it seems to imply they will not do it unless they can reproduce?, + Do you know how quick it is for them to do it, as I'm in for first service in March, expect them to say not enough time to do both....

Just had the renewal email, even at the discounted price of £80 total cannot see that it's worth it to me anyway...

Makes me wonder if I had left my key in longer would I have updated to 0276 as well as my maps updating, instead of staying on 0270..maybe I should put the key back in for a couple of days?

Feel everyone's pain who cannot update, I cannot explain why mine updated when others will not, can confirm though that I am on 0270 software before and after update, I guess everybody formatted their key to exFAT as required on update instructions, before loading update to key, could it be that different parts of the country have larger / smaller updates, so therefore takes a different time to complete the update onto the system, who knows, obviously Skoda don't.
