  1. Just received an update, unconfirmed build week 7.
  2. I am still waiting for a build week here. SE Technology ordered mid September 2022.
  3. It is 10 weeks since I ordered my Scala and it is still awaiting a build week. It is a 1.0 SE Technology with no options in factory (energy) blue.
  4. I had this on my Octavia before they applied an update which resolved the issue, to get round it I pressed the voice command button on the steering wheel (not sure if the Scala has this button though).
  5. I've ordered a 1.0 SE Technology on 26 September 2022 which is showing as 16 week factory order on some lease websites, they have told me it will be delivered in March when my current lease expires. Last update was "awaiting a build week at the factory"
  6. The Driving Data section of the MySkoda app shows me the details of every individual journey I have made (distance, travelling time, average speed and fuel consumption).
  7. Just been out and checked the full spec, the tyres are Kumho Ecsta PS71 205/60 R16 92V. Car was a stock order in January 2021, delivered to me on 1st March 2021.
  8. My 1.0 SE FE came with Kumho Ecsta tyres. Will check later what the exact size is.
  9. My phone received an update at the weekend and now Android Auto works wirelessly. My phone is a Redmi Note 9 Pro.
  10. I received an update last week but my car is the SE First Edition with the 8" screen. I've not had a single issue with it since (I'd not had any issues in the previous 4 weeks since changing how I start the car).
  11. @calvins48 I also have the 8 inch version of the infotainment screen, my car had the update on Tuesday and the only change I've noticed is the on/off air con button has moved from the left side of the screen to the left. What was your issue with the radio logos?
  12. Had the software update done yesterday, the only visual change I've noticed so far is on the air conditioning screen the on/off button has moved from the left centre of the screen to the top right (possibly to make the button easier to find for right hand drive cars).
  13. I've found that turning the ignition on first and then switching the engine on stops the fault from occurring. Try getting in the car, push the start button to switch the ignition on then put your foot on the clutch and press start again to switch the engine on.
  14. I've not been on this thread for over a week and am pleased to read that people have started receiving an update. My car is already booked in for next Tuesday so they can look at the intermittent flickering fuel gauge and temperature gauge lights, I've got my fingers crossed that any update they install will solve my infotainment issues. Although I have had no infotainment issues since the 18th May when I found that switching the ignition on before starting the car (push the start button without your foot on the clutch) stopped the issues occurring.
  15. I feel like the odd one out in this thread with my "poor man's" SE First Edition with the small screen. I haven't had any infotainment issues for almost two weeks (touch wood) since I started following this procedure when starting the car. 1) Get in the car and press the start button without your foot on the clutch to switch the ignition on. 2) Then put your foot on the clutch and press the start button to start the car. I have had the screen get stuck on the Skoda logo a couple of times but if you have your mobile connected saying "ok Google" makes the screen move on from the stuck logo. I'm got a call with Kate from Skoda tomorrow to discuss the above issues and the intermittent flickering fuel and temperature gauge lights.
  16. Had this issue show up again at the weekend, wife was in the car with me so managed to film it to send to Skoda. YouCut_20210523_102144544.mp4
  17. My issues have resurfaced with a vengeance, 3 days out of the last 4 I've had journeys with no working touchscreen. I've started taking photos of the dashboard showing the errors so I have a record. I tried loading the My Skoda app to see if the errors showing on the dashboard appeared in the app, they don't.
  18. I had a phone call from Skoda Finance yesterday, they have offered me a payment as a gesture of goodwill due to the issues I have had with my leased car. Just an update on my issues, since the two updates were performed 17 days ago I have only had the touchscreen issues once.
  19. My car is also a personal lease, I have contacted Skoda Finance (VWFS) and asked how they can assist with getting "their" faulty car that I am leasing fixed. I have had one phone call so far to tell me they are contacting Skoda UK about my issues.
  20. Just a quick update following my car having two updates 9 days ago (I have the SE 1st Edition with the smaller touchscreen). All was fine until this morning, I stopped to refuel and when I got back into the car the touchscreen did not come on and I got the usual warnings plus a nice new colourful warning.
  21. @Gax My car has been in to the dealers today, apparently there were two software update recalls outstanding which have been applied and they said they should resolve my issues. The version number 0892 is still the same after these updates so I'm unsure what they have actually done. Interestingly I've received an email from Kate Laws at Skoda UK today saying that an update to resolve all issues with A8 vehicles is being released shortly.
  22. @gavshelton My car is booked in at Bristol Street Derby next week for them to have a look at my infotainment system issues 🤦‍♂️
  23. I believe both @Gax and myself have the SE 1st Ed (smaller infotainment screen than the rest of you), have you had any issues with the screen not working?
  24. My car is going in for the first time on Tuesday. I asked the dealer what will happen if the intermittent fault doesn't occur while they have the car. They told me the previous errors will show up in the history when they hook it up to the computer. I'm assuming they will not be able to solve the issues so how have you guys managed to get loan cars?
  25. I sent my details to Honest John (I think I was the 6th owner to contact him) and have heard nothing from Skoda UK.
