The people from CZ (Prague) don't tell anything but do it for a fee of 250€. And those who have it don't give out a scan of the car. So you could compare before and after. I suspect a BCM flash might help. But that's a bit of a lot of work to flash the BCM.

Yes, it is not coding. It works automatically, it turns on the turn signal when opening/closing, everything is controlled by the light. You don't need to code that.

What do you mean exactly? You have to code the indicators and possibly the reversing light, i.e. change the dimming value to 127.

It's already great. I'm concerned about the running light when opening/closing. In your video, it only works when you open it. The taillights slowly dim - that's the way it should be. When closing, however, it should be the other way around. It doesn't do that to you, the taillights just go out. I have exactly the same thing.

Has anyone found anything here for the purpose of light animation? Unfortunately, the colleagues from CZ only want to do something for €€ and don't tell anything. I think the BCM would have to be faked. Is there anyone who had theirs converted in CZ and has a before/after scan of the car? So far, it's only possible for me to open it, which dims the lights. Use a plastic wedge to carefully pry out the key unit. Pull out carefully upwards. The cable is relatively short and everything is a bit fiddly. For my start-stop module, I cut a plastic bar inside so that there is more space under the switch unit.

So front and rear conversion are nothing new anymore. It's all older. If you have the right STG and adapt the cabling, this can also be done at the front. Of course, a few more parts are then required, which makes them significantly more expensive. Whether the animation then runs 100% at the front and rear is also questionable.

Yes, everyone has to decide for themselves what it is worth to them. I converted to facelift lights myself, so I know the effort and the costs. I also retrofitted the chrome strips on my L&K. These China adhesive strips are good, but look like they were stuck on the door. OEM this is let into the bar so that the edge is flush with the chrome bar. I like it better. In the end, it's always a question of money. And for others, it's nice to see that things are also different from OEMs.

OEM is expensive, right, but looks better. And the facelift lights are 100% LED and not, as with the vFL, with incandescent lamps. Dynamic blinker is also nicer. But everyone has to know it himself. I prefer the FL OEM look.
