Bit late to reply now, but would have loved to have seen a before/after or side by side on the other. Do you have a link to the bulbs you fitted?

problem emission control system.
It does yes or at least I assume so? but on my previous A3 that I had for 4 years I saw it maybe 3 times, yet had my EGR replaced due to carbon build up twice, Both times the car went into limp mode with a flashing EML light. Almost like it was skipping the DPF regen warning and going straight to fault mode.

problem emission control system.
I had this come on last week, my wife has been short trips in the car to work, and we'd not been on a good run for a while. Following a 120 mile round trip it seems to of cleared itself, so I can only assume its linked to the DPF, and the car not getting hot enough to regen.

Auto brake not applying when stationary?
Thanks for the swift reply, My wife hates the stop/start, so wondering if she'd pressed that in error. I'll go and have a quick look now.

Auto brake not applying when stationary?
I have a '67 plate L&K, I remember until recently, the car would automatically apply the brake when coming to a stop, an example would be arriving at traffic lights. However, my wife noticed that this is no longer the case. We now find ourselves having to keep our foot on the brake, else the car will naturally creep if in 'Drive' I've noticed we intermittently get a warning when starting the car when on the drive advising 'manoeuvre brake currently unavailable' The question is, has anyone else experienced this, and are the two linked?

Limp Home mode
Sounds very symptomatic of a EGR issue, I had this several times on my '12 plate Audi A3. But its impossible to diagnose without a fault code.

Upgrading to 19's
Interesting, I've the 19" Trinity rims on my L&K, I'm due new tyres on the rear axle soon (likely swap fronts to the back) I get 20% discount on Pirelli through work, I'm wondering the price difference on 245/40/R19 vs 235/40/R19. Checking on Blackcircle, I can find P-Zeros on the wider profile (245) for £35 a corner cheaper than (235)

Rear wiper Jet - No Spray - Replacement Motor Required?
Thanks for clarifying, sounds like a bit of a design flaw! I'm wondering if anyone has the part number, as I have warranty on my vehicle, so should be able to claim.

Rear wiper Jet - No Spray - Replacement Motor Required?
To be fair, I've not done any exploration on the issue myself. I only noticed the night before service that it wasn't working. So raised it with Skoda whilst the car was in. They told me the front shocks needing replacing, but only had light misting 3 months ago... so I couldn't really trust what they were saying, as it felt like they were tapping me up for cash for repairs.

Rear wiper Jet - No Spray - Replacement Motor Required?
Completely agree. Tyre inflation kits are pointless, I'd call recovery before I'd attempt to use one of those cans. I'll let the MOT tester decide if its a fail or not before I have to get my wallet out. I've challenged back via email on the initial statement regarding the motor, and they've advised the following: Anyone have a part number for this said motor at all? I'd take a look myself, but I've heard the clips on the boot lid are a pain in the backside to remove?

Rear wiper Jet - No Spray - Replacement Motor Required?
Its a very good question, I could of sworn I've read that the front/back is driven by the same pump?

Rear wiper Jet - No Spray - Replacement Motor Required?
Hello all, My Superb is currently with a local main stealer for a major service, I've received an email for them advising additional works required, things such as brake fluid change - £65.00, Replace expired Tyre inflation kit - £20.00, as well as being told that both my front shock absorbers are leaking and will need replacing else they'll fail the MOT. A few months ago, I was told of light misting... Anyway, I noticed last week my rear wiper arm was moving, but no water was coming out. I reached for pin, to make sure the ducts were clear, but no joy. When it went in for a DSG service to the same garage a few months ago, they unclogged it and it was clear there was a rusty residue that came out when it was cleaned, as it was on the boot lid when I collected. I asked them to look at it again, and they've advised the following: It seems quite a drastic option to replace the motor to the tune of £210, has anyone else had any experience this is failing? I've warranty on the vehicle, so it should be covered, I do believe it still carries an excess of £100, so questioning if its worth coughing up?

Automatic gear shift handle
I noticed my drivers interior door handle is sharp on the hidden side, my DSG lever is worn where a wedding ring would catch it.

I have the same issue on mine, Its just cosmetic at this point, but I have seen a post where someone cut themselves on the damaged chrome. They're £20odd quid to replace I believe.- Eco, Normal, Sport
Auto 150tdi here, I notice a big difference between Eco & Sport on my suspension. Eco makes me feel a bit sick as its bouncy.- What have you done to your Superb III today?
Thanks, I used to have a lot more time to spend on detailing, but family life has swallowed all that extra time. I used to have a Renault Sport Clio 182, it was in a metallic black, I reckon I washed it twice a week, had time to apply Poor boys black hole show glaze to it most times aswell!- What have you done to your Superb III today?
Just a late evening wash last night after the heat of the day had settled down. Off down to Devon for the week soon, so always nice to have a clean car for the trip.- Washing and Detailing
Good to know, I've been thinking of taking the plunge for a while on this polisher. Any recommendations of what pads/compounds to go for? I know they do bundle packs for this polish on CYC. - Automatic gear shift handle
