good news for me just got reg number and delivery date at dealers 22 july and should have it no later than 29 july depending how fast pdi etc can be done.

the storage of cars vans etc has been going on for years and years.it does not bother me if my car has been stuck out in the open for a few months and could you tell it has been.maybe people in the trade may know but a lot of us have not got a clue in these matters.in any case do they apply a coat of something to protect it?

it is very confusing and the people who are to blame or should i say.it is lies at skoda tdoorstep.total lack of information and the crazy delivery system that is in place some guys getting there cars in a matter of months and lots of guys waiting well over one year.then you get the dealers who telling customer unreal delivery times just to get a sale done.i know some people say it is not them to blame but why are they telling us customers blatant lies imo.they work under the skoda banner so they are as much to blame then head office of skoda.

i get updates every friday,in the last week i have had 3 updates telling me the car wa on its way and last one was delivery at dealers no later than 22 july.so they have updated me every week for just about 14 months.it is very frustrating getting pushed every friday.good luck and hope you get good news soon.

told today car should be at the dealer by the 22 july or a bit earlier.

i do hope you get it but i doubt it,if you read all of the comments on here i think the date you have been given.is pie in the sky and the salesman is not very honest imo.

pleased for you.been told i should get my this month.it does look like deliveries are starting to pick up.which will i hope cut these long long waits for our cars.

it does look like there is movement on 21 ordered cars.i was told last tuesday that my car was on its way to the uk.they said they would update me on all stages of delivery.then nothing at all i know it is only 9 days since.i did expect a update by now.should of known better and remember we are talking about the wonderful pr team skoda have[must all be on holiday].in any case fingers crossed and hope they are right with delivery this month.

dont know if am missing something,always thought in the uk it was ok to have different treads or makes on car wheels

good news for you,can i ask you say you have the reg number/i thought you only could get that when the car is at the dealers.the reason i ask for my car left the factory and is on it way to the uk and i dont have the reg number yet.

what tyres do skoda fit onto there octavia vrs 4x4 estate cars

i know it is bit off skoda,just thinking bentley are coming out with a electric car in the next year or so.what i cannot get my head around how big and heavy they are going be to power a beast like that?sorry going off subject.

i ordered 21/05/2021 so just about same date as you.octavia vrs 4x4 dsg tdi estate.it has been that long since i ordered it,i am having to look through to se what has on it.

i thought for north of england the delivery port was north shields on the river tyne?in any case what ports do skoda deliver to in the uk?

sorry what i meant if i got one fitted by yourselves ,would it not make skodas warranty on the car invalid.

is there any sign of new engine covers coming out?

if i get a reversing camera fitted by yourselves would i not lose my warranty?

i feel for you i went through this and was angry about everything.now you having been through this for around 2 months longer and are still waiting for your car is beyond me.as you say many thousands of people have got there cars and waited far shorter time than you.it show you what a complete shambles skoda is in how can any one get a car sooner than people who have orders in months and months is beyond me.just hope you get your car soon and have no problems with it.
