i got my car 3 weeks ago and the tyres are bridgestone t005 yet when i hit 74 mph it flashes up caution winter tyres.why?

first time i have tried sat nav since i got the car 2 weeks ago,what a biggest load of rubbish it is.i done a 35 mile run with it to a place i go to very often. it was trying to take me on a mystery tour of the country side.it wanted me to go anywhere apart what i put into sat nav.it is the worst sat nav i have ever had and i have had a few poor one but this if in a class on its own.i drive in europe and after this short trip i would never use this crap sat nav again.

i store my key only about 2/3 metres from the car and i have no flashing lights what i know of but i will check tonight.

i am sure you will get your car shortly,they are including myself people who waited well over 1 year before getting there car.

it say configuration in progress,then sometimes goes blank and cannot do anything unless i turn engine off.any help?i am going to pop into the skoda garage by end of week and hope to get some help off them.

i read the software updates people are getting.can anyone help me.i have been told on here my software/hardware are correct but are they? hardware h58---software 1889----display unit/control panel hardware h47---display unit/contro; panel software 2103----navigation database 21.2-----media code 3.1.4.i contacted skoda 12 days ago and they said there could be a problem and they would get back to me and guess what not a word since.my screen keeps going blank and at times other things come onto screen and have to switch car off and turn it off and all is fine. any advice please.

i thought all engine covers were removed,so if this does not apply to my model of car vrs tdi 4x4 estate.i stand corrected.

got no idea just when i got the car and popped the hood and presto the engine cover was on it.

i got my oct vrs on 27/07/2022 and it has a engine cover.

i got my car 27/07/2022,i was very pleased with it.yes i had a few problems with it[soft ware]i got in touch with skoda who said they would look into it,then the next day all was fine with the car and i thought everything was sorted by over the air updates.but in the last couple of days,screen going blank with no sat nav music in fact sweet fa.it keeps coming on but a lot of the time it tells me to scan things which i have no idea what it is going on about.when i put my foot down the noise it generates is like a tractor pulling away.the car drives great unless i put it in echo mode which to me is dodgy thing to do because when you put your foot down the lag is dangerous imo.it looks like a visit to the garage when i have time which should not happen imo.why skoda have not been back in touch i do not know.,tonight i popped down the road and the red crash warning is popping up and a yellow warning about near side.it is starting to annoy me and when you get a car that came out well over a year ago they have not sorted the problems the car has have had ,since it came out is beyond me.putting it mildly it ****es me off[sorry about that]but this whats happens when you get a car that is not working right and NO response off skoda.good night

i have vrs ref 27/07/2022 i have noticed the time showing like you is along the bottom of the infotainment screen.i just thought i had pressed a wrong button but still unable to find anything regarding the time.have to look more into it.

i am trying to source mud flaps ,front and rear for my new car octavia 4x4 vrs estate.as fryeruk says cant find the correct ones to fit my car.any help out there please?

my mk 4 is has no problems at the moment,fingers crossed.i think you will find less and less people are having problems with there software.so that is good news for new skoda owners.

apart for a couple of days my car is working fine,mind you it is only a week today since i got it.

i waited 14 months and 6 days for my car.i was told it was built and on its way to the uk.i got it 27 july but should of had it a week or so earlier,due to balls up at there end for paper work.then i had a few software problems and complained to skoda who said they were looking into what has gone on.then yesterday the car was working perfect but cannot find updates they have done over the air.so fingers crossed all is well oh by the the way the car is great to drive.good luck to you all in getting your cars soon.

for some reason all the problems have gone.do not know if they did all the fixes over the air.they must of done some thing.what i do not know.just start to get to know the car a pleasure to drive.good luck in getting your car.

just wonder with the prices going through the roof,how long will it be until the prices at charging stations go into orbit

i got my car on wednesday.today i followed my son to see how he liked it driving my car.yes a vrs as sweeping indicators.

i tried the comfort mode but it effected the cars performance i just got away with not causing a accident.i iam blaming that because when i pulled out it did not have the power to pull away quickly.since i moved to normal and sports it is totally different car.

just my luck,i will see what they have to say monday that is if they get back to me.if not i will have a drive over to the skoda garage.when i have time to do so.

this laura thing, i have tried but it keeps saying your car is not not equipped for skoda portal and other features,mind you iam saying telling me it come in text mode.i am now thinking the car is still on factory settings and has not been set up.

my problems are starting to stack up,just popped down the road and the noise off the radio is terrible or i think it is like a dull but loud heavy drum beat.you cant hear yourself thinking with it.
