What have people done to their engine bays to spruce them up etc, whether it be hydrodipping, paint etc what silicone pipes have you swapped out for .. more importantly pics and links if you have any?

It looks like skoda parts didn't charge me vat on the order, but allowed FedEx to do it as its coming into the country, just an additional 12 for doing it on my behalf so to speak.

286 euros... But just looked and FedEx are charging for the 12.75 disbursement fee, and 49.82 as original Vat, that right?

So I purchased a mirror from skoda parts, had it deliever etc but today I had an invoice from FedEx who want to charge me an additional £62 for import and other taxes. Anyone else had this, thought the price would have included stuff like this? Or am I being stupid and missed something?

As above really, if you need the extra sensors on the far left and far right for the parking assist (six sensor holes rather than 4) then it might be easier to source the bumper for the four holed one and get the bodyshop to sort the holes for the other two.... You will need the seperate brackets to be secured on the inside however but the markings on a genuine bumper are there for ease of use.

I have the l&k and have ambiant light as standard but only have a choice of four colours. The floor lighting is dim at best. Can this be improved?

Superskodas center caps are the genuine article then sprayed up and lacquerd.. I must admit I'm a fan of the monte carlo black on them. Not a great photo I know but you get the idea

Here we are again! More things to do so sod it, part 2 then... So.... The alloys have just been refurbed in ironstone grey... Beautiful colour I must say... However Went to put them on in merthyr up the powder coaters and noticed my shock did not want to be a part of the car anymore Crap... Skoda wanted a stupid amount of money for one and bilstein b6s were decided only then to find its a 6-8week backorder Double crap.... Then someone decided to try and nick my wingmirror glass And broke it. Arrggghhhh
