Battery warning on the Keyfob runs out
Am I correct in assuming that the Karoq keyfob takes a CR2032 battery? (I read somewhere that some Skoda keyfobs take a CR2025 battery.)

Karoq pictures
I'm new to Skoda. In the past I've owned Audi, Seat, Hyundai and other makes. So far, I'm very happy with the Karoq. The dealer let me know that there was a facelifted Karoq on the horizon for 2022. I chose to order an existing model on the system rather than wait until next year. The car was ordered at the end of October. I was kept informed of its travel from the factory, to Emden (Germany), and then over to the UK. I collected it on 29th November. During the decision-making process I've been reading through all the information on this site and found it very useful. I've also watched dozens of Youtube videos on the Karoq. There seems to be quite a bit of variation in what comes supplied with Karoqs, depending on age and trim level. My car is a 71 plate (MY22) Sport Line 1.5 TSI DSG in metallic Race Blue on 19" wheels. The things it came with included: Amundsen infotainment screen Sport Line flat-bottomed steering wheel Panoramic glass sunroof Tinted privacy glass on the rear windows DSG paddle shifters on the steering wheel 2 x USB-C sockets in the front Wireless mobile phone charging pad in the front next to the USB-C sockets Umbrella in a drawer underneath the front passenger seat Ice scraper inside the petrol filler flap Cargo nets in the boot Luggage dividers / fasteners in the boot 2 x shopping bag hooks in the boot Skoda cuddly lion on the dashboard : ) (see photo) There was no torch in the boot. I'm led to believe the torch was discontinued a while ago. I've attached some photos, taken on the day I collected the car. Looking at the latest information on the 2022 facelifted Karoq it looks like Skoda won't be offering the new model in Race Blue. Cheers PJ

Witless android auto help
Sorry to hear that Toolie. It's a real puzzle why Android Auto works wirelessly for some people and not for others. Good luck finding the answer.

Witless android auto help
I'm finding the 'English Kate (UK)' voice the best so far. And it includes street names, which is very useful. This video gives a good overview of all the English Waze voices.

Witless android auto help
I'm new to Skoda, so can only comment on my limited experience of owning a Karoq for the past three weeks. My car is a 71 plate Karoq (MY22). I have a Samsung mobile phone running Android 11. I installed Android Auto onto the phone. Ticked the setting to allow wireless connection (Settings > System > Wireless connection) The phone connects and Android Auto starts as soon as I get into the car. I'm using Waze for all my navigation and it works flawlessly. I haven't needed to do anything more than that. Cheers

Karoq Sunglass holder
I've been using one of these sun visor clips in my cars for the past couple of years. No fitting needed - just clips onto the visor. https://amzn.to/3ETMzK7 The one I use holds two pairs of glasses within easy reach, but there are lots of others on the market.

Cup holders ridiculously shaped
Similar here. I bought two of Wilko's 'Luxe Black Coffee Cups' for £5.00 each. They hold 450ml of coffee and keep it hot for a few hours. https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-luxe-black-coffee-cup/p/0510022 Two cups fit side-by-side into the Karoq cup-holders, though they are quite tall (20 cms).

Music from USB stick.
I'm guessing this might be because the album tracks haven't been 'numbered', so are defaulting to playing in alphabetical order. On my USB stick, I have a separate folder for each album, and in each folder I number each track to make sure that songs play in the correct order. So, for example: Folders Beatles - Revolver Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Beatles - Abbey Road Beatles - Abbey Road 01. Come Together 02. Something 03. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer 04. Oh! Darling 05. Octopus’s Garden etc... I use 'Media Monkey' (https://www.mediamonkey.com/) - a free program to title and order my music tracks and folders and to attach album art. Another, similar, free program is 'MP3tag' (https://www.mp3tag.de/en/) So far, I'm finding that all album art is showing correctly as it should, and also that each music album or track always resumes from where it left off every time I start the car.

Playlists USB
I'm not sure if this will help you, but I've just taken delivery of a brand new 71 plate Karoq Sport Line 1.5 TSI DSG, with the Amundsen infotainment. Like you, I'm used to previously using an SD card in my Audi to store my music. I've now transferred all music to a USB stick. First-time Skoda owner (Karoq)
Hi everyone First-time Skoda owner here. I collected a new Karoq 'Sport Line' 1.5 TSI DSG two weeks ago. Prior to purchase, I spent quite a few hours browsing through all the topics on the forum and it helped to answer a lot of my questions. I've moved to Skoda from Audi and so far am very pleased with my choice. The Karoq is a pleasure to drive. Cheers PJ
