Cleaning & Detailing: what did you do to your motor today?
I also have a Karcher K4, and use the Karcher foam spray nozzle - https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/pressure-washer-accessories/karcher-pressure-washer-foam-spray-nozzle-112221.html I tend to stick with Auto Glym Polar Blast Snow Foam for best results - https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/car-shampoo/autoglym-polar-blast-snow-foam-2.5l-575784.html I've tried lots of shampoos, and now stick with Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax - https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/car-shampoo/meguiars-ultimate-wash-and-wax-1.42-litre-248083.html One of the best things I've bought recently is this 'Detailers United Hydro Hoover XL Professional Grade Car Drying Towel'. I can dry the entire car (Karoq) in no time and with no need to wring it out. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N1PVQS1/?tag=paujon-21

Help - Cargo nets
This is something that threw me a little when I was buying my Karoq. If you watch various Karoq videos on YouTube they all seem to have different specs as to what's included or not. My car is a 71 plate (MY22) Sport Line 1.5 TSI DSG. The things it came with included: Wireless mobile phone charging pad in the front next to the USB-C sockets Umbrella in a drawer underneath the front passenger seat Cargo nets in the boot Luggage dividers / fasteners in the boot 2 x shopping bag hooks in the boot

Brake lights staying on in stop/start
I've been driving Automatics (DSG) for the last five years and can't recall ever using Neutral (N). The car's either in Drive, Reverse or Parked.

Brake lights staying on in stop/start
Yes, as noted, perfectly normal if you have AutoHold enabled. Not something you might notice unless there's a large vehicle, such as a bus, right behind you.

Karoq or Superb
Ultimately, only you can decide. You're the person who will be driving it. I recently went from a nicely-specced Audi saloon to a Karoq and don't regret it one bit. I love the higher-up driving position and find it much easier to get in and out of.

I've got the cargo nets but not used them yet. I found this photo somewhere on the Internet, can't remember where.

How easy did you find applying and buffing off the Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax? I'm considering using it, so looking for any feedback or tips. Thanks.

Karoq on the autobahn
I've never driven on the autobahn, but if you want to see how the Karoq handles it you might like this video. 2021 Skoda Karoq 2.0 TSI DSG 4x4 Sportline 190 PS TOP SPEED AUTOBAHN DRIVE POV

Is black badge a step to far?
Yes, same here.

1.5TSi MPG
Yes. Regardless of whatever mode (D/E/S) I was using last time I drove, the Karoq always reverts back to D the next time I start it up. As stated above, I'm led to believe that this is due to some EU legislation.
-
1.5TSi MPG
With my DSG Automatic gearbox the dashboard will show: Normal driving mode: D1, D2, D3, etc Eco mode: E1, E2, E3, etc Sport mode: S1, S2, S3, etc.

1.5TSi MPG
Sorry for any confusion. I think we're talking about the same thing. Normal driving mode - D Eco mode - E Sport mode - S Individual mode
-
1.5TSi MPG
Yes. My 1.5 TSI DSG does that as well - reverts to normal 'D' mode whenever you start the car. Before the Skoda I had an Audi which always started with whatever mode it was last used in - Sport, Eco, etc.

Karoq no cd player
My preferred way to play music whilst driving is via a USB stick loaded with hundreds of albums. I'm also a lover of classical music and often have Classic FM on the radio. I guess you could also run Spotify via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

What's the difference here?
Skoda, I believe, have four different variations of their infotainment screens / layout / system: Swing Bolero Amundsen Columbus I think the choice of model / spec (SE, SEL, Sport Line, etc) determines which system comes as standard. For example, in my Karoq Sport Line I have the Amundsen system, which has the two knobs same as your photo above. You could do a bit of Googling or check owners manuals, etc to read up on the different systems. Yes, there's a kind of 'biting point' when autohold kicks in.

Heated rear screen turns off multi media screen
Sorry - just read your message again... No idea why the heated rear window would make the screen turn off.

Heated rear screen turns off multi media screen
I remember reading that the radio antenna is built into the heated rear window, so that may have something to do with it? Here's another thread on a similar subject -

I have a Nextbase 522GW front and rear camera hardwired into my Karoq. So far, everything fine.
