No it is not.

Restarts after update to 1989 started happening. Always after starting the car. But somehow it got sorted itself and it no longer happens. Ì correlate it with errors been deleted from system, when my windscreen was changed and the guy did recalibration he said system had bunch of errors stored, somehow dealer does not delete them.

I think number one looks better.

Funny, but today I vacuumed and noticed them too, when accidentally pushed one of them inside. Below soft pads there is a thread, my guess it is for optional extinguisher mount or smth like that.

Just go back to the ones that changed your windscreen. I had mine replaced too and got warranty. They must do the recalibration perfectly and if it isn’t they must redo it. Mines working perfect after the change.

It is normal in cold or wet mornings. The sensor in front gets some mist and when it clears it is working again. The sensor is actually heated (i think it has the funnel from engine wherewarm air gets).

Nah i didnt bothered. It happens every time at the same speed so I just figured it has to be this way.

Mine does that clunk too. At certain speed, sound like mechanical somewhere from the clutch. Mine is 2022 and did that from day one. Neber bothered.

Hello all, this morning I got ant error stating, that front parking sensors and exit warning system is not working. This error followed thgrough my drive to work. And yes, front parks didnt work. After I arrived and turned off the car, after 15minutes went for a drive and errors were gone. I booked to the dealership already. Has anyone got same issue? Never happened before, my car is 1yr old vrs.

Your e-tec cuts off engine completely and then the battery kicks in and feeds everything. I am assuming the noise you hear is ten electronics working.

Thanks guys for the answers. Just some additional info. I talked with my insurance and guys who would change the windshield (carglass). They say benefits would be that it wont cost me a thing and a replacement piece OEE. That means it has the same or better characteristics than OEM as it is with the specs of OEM. My Skoda retailer agrees to that, but says that I would lose heated windshield warranty. Bad thing is if i would decide to change it at the dealer I would have to pay extra. Fk I am torn 😄 Moreover I am not pleased with quality of OEM one because my car is just one year old and I have never touched windshield with ice scraper or anything and it already got scratches and many stone chips. It is just too thin I think.

It will be done by the insurance at authorized glass shop Carglass. I think you have them too in the UK. Its just that it wont be original part, but approved one by the Skoda.

Hi all, This morning I had to witness magnificent event as my windshield cracked before my eyes. Long story short it will be replaced, but not with the original one. Company says it will be replaced with analogue which is heated, acoustic, rain sensor and camera calibration. But it is heat resistant (red) too which they didn't mention. I am now afraid it will not be up to spec. I looked at autodoc and there is only one variant available and in description there is no mention of heat resistance. Has any got their windshield replaced? Btw my car is ‘22 vrs.

There is a option in infontainment where you can toggle on or off for that. Its basically unlocks the car for you when you are approaching it. Check it.

Ive seen standart Octavia with full vrs bodykit at a dealer. So I assume it is possible if you willing to spend 😃

I dunno. My previous MK3 had low beam indicator, even though it too had front and rear drl activated.

Mine has rear light up allways (Lithuania, Baltic states), but i have few friends with mk4’s and their rear is not lit up. I thinks it just depens 😃 at least in my country. But you can code it and I think dealer might be able to do it too if you asked. And for the indications about when the low beams come on - my swicht is allways lit up, only way to know if low beams ar on is to actually see them ir waze/google maps go dark mode 😃

Also, it is recommended, to prolong life of the gearbox, when you park, put gearbox in N, then engage electronic handbrake, release brake pedal and let it hang on parking brake and then engage P. I do this because my parking space is a bit sloped and if you immediately let it sit in P the car is held by the gearbox.

In that case get some power tester. But I would just go straight to the dealer and get them sort this out.

I dont know about phones, but try different cables. Mino only worked with supplied cable from dash cam. So i used usb a to c adaptor.

I just put on those last week (original ones) and I didn't do the drilling part. On the high way done speeds up to about 220 kph and they didn't flew off so Im pretty confident that they will hold on 😁

No, I got the update mainly because I was (and still am) sometimes getting the no sound at all bug and some other annoying niggles. But my dealer said they would update my system every time I would come to service my car because it is in their routine checkup to make sure it is up to date. But they admitted they are getting many complaints about MIB3 😀

Today I got the 1896 update and was upset, that Flat EQ bug still present in my car 😞

It is easy to get recreated. It happens every time 😀
