  1. Hah, thanks for letting me know how I inadvertently broke mine 😂
  2. Any idea how yours cracked? Mine is cracked too, happened some time over the past six months but no idea how.
  3. There is no distance setting unless when the ACC is activated.
  4. <envy> I really must get my wheels powder coated!
  5. I use one for the OH's car, bought it from Costco years back and it's branded 'Frostblocker' and it does what it says. Throw it over the windscreen and attach it to the mirrors with elastic straps, covers the wipers too. I've actually got two but I never use the other one because, well, heated windscreen

  7. It should keep running just fine. Bear in mind that your ancillary systems wont work as the battery runs down, your power steering will die too as the battery discharges.
  8. I'd be looking to see if the error was still there tomorrow and if it was, I'd be phoning the seller on Monday.
  9. Personally, I'd like to speak to the tyre fitter that deemed this fine and maybe the owner to ask WTAF?
  10. Threw in a Carsifi wireless Android Auto adapter. Works flawlessly
  11. Stick your VIN into https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/ and DIY it
  12. MY = Model Year Your Nov 2020 is probably MY2021 but it really depends on when it was built. I believe the changeover is July(ish) for the next MY.
  13. Normally fake news restricts itself to social media sites.
  14. I suspect the sat nav is just using the info it already has rather than reading the road signs. An easy test is to drive through some roadworks where there is a temp speed limit and see if it changes from the regular limit to the temp signed limit. Sounds like you may need to buy/subscribe to it. On earlier models it could be activated with VCDS assuming you had the correct camera.
  15. Are you getting any stations/sounds at all through DAB?
  16. Very easy. Unplug throttle connector, stick the pedal box connector in between, stick it in R+ mode and spend the rest of the day grinning like a loon 🤣 You'll likely settle on Sport or Sport+ as a daily driver though, I did
  17. https://www.racechip.co.uk/pedal-box/xlr.html << there are several different brands but I have one of theirs. They also do tuning boxes that are plug and play.
  18. I'm stick a fiver on the camshaft sensor breaking down under heat. Has it ever died as you were driving and then refused to start for a while?
  19. The power or the throttle response? If it's the response then you can get a pedal box with adjustable settings.
  20. petrolcan replied to KiNeL's topic in Skoda Yeti
I'm reading the OP like the following: Suckers, they're paying over the odds whilst I've retired to Spain.
  21. If you're hearing a hissing noise then it's time to get the refrigerant topped up.
  22. 👋 And I wouldn't be without them. Different strokes etc etc
