  1. Not today but last Thursday I took a chance on a pedal box from the forums here that was originally sold for a 1.4 petrol engine. I figured that at the price I negotiated I'd easy enough get my money back if it didn't work. Anyway, fast forward to today and it's here when I got in from work. In original box and everything. Glanced at the instructions and tossed them aside and fitted it in a few minutes. This thing has multiple settings on a dial, E+, E, N, S, S+, R, R+ (having not bothered reading instructions, I assume that's economy, normal, sport and race) Took it for a test drive on E, no change. N felt no different. Set it to S and the difference was notable, much more reactive to a throttle press. R & R+, well, it doesn't half take off like a scalded cat at the lights! I'd been toying with the idea of a remap but I'll tell you what, bang for buck this is probably one of the best modifications I've ever done (especially at the price I paid!)
  2. Arrived today, ignored instructions and fitted it and it only bloody works perfectly Thank you @facet edge, perfect transaction.
  3. That thing up there ^^ eliminates that
  4. Yup. Not sure why you want lighting during daylight hours!
  5. Save wear on the starter and battery were the main considerations for me.
  6. The joy of it is that it remembers your last setting leaving you free to use start stop if you want or just leave it permanently off.
  7. Just get one of these from aliexpress, plug and play with no need for coding https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003368450925.html
  8. Well, I've just bought this so we'll soon find out if it works on a 2.0 diesel
  9. No reason why you couldn't put a GY on but it depends on how comfortable you'd feel about having two different tyres on the same axle. This any help? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224627643344 Edit: Just noticed they are 94V rated
  10. By looking at the service history and if you don't have one, get it changed for peace of mind.
  11. Isn't there physical switches on the lights?
  12. The issue is that it's had rear end damage that hasn't been repaired properly.
  13. Bit of a rant WTF can no-one seem to post a proper link without all the tracking crap? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B095Y7HRP6/ It's not bloody rocket science!
  14. This is what I'm waiting upon as I want a switch on mine https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003890795636.html
  15. Now he's gonna wrap everything 😆
  16. I had this with my last car and couldn't find decent replacements. I ended up buying a roll of fake carbon wrap and spent a happy afternoon experimenting until I got it right. Vastly improved the look of the inside of the car too. Be warned though if you do take this route, you'll be wrapping (or considering it) everything else too to make everything match.
  17. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33023879272.html Any good?
  18. If it's any consolation I bought mine for a good chunk more
  19. If it's always the same point then just hit the throttle a bit as you pass. Car knows you're in control then.
  20. It was at this point that you should have walked away.
  21. Hope you got them to put new rear shocks on!
  22. Looks like you have a cut in the sidewall which would be a good explanation as to why it needs air. Opportunity to buy some decent tyres too
  23. Easiest way to check is to view your car through the rear view mirror of another car, it's quite obvious then.
  24. If you bought the car expecting 18" wheels then that's what should be on it. Go back to the dealer.
