  1. Scratch that, got it removed after sitting staring at it for a while. Gently (and I mean gently) pull on the bottom RHS to dislodge the 'pin', once that's dislodged move to the upper right stop and wiggle that out. Then, using small movements, wiggle the whole thing to the right at a slight angle and out it pops. Removing the 12v socket was a pain as I assumed it all came out as one piece. It doesn't! Pop the metal part out then the plastic surround comes out easily. Handily there's a plug to unclip so you can just remove the whole lot and do the wiring on a bench. I now have twin USB in the rear using one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09J2LPJCH/ Apologies @JR RS for the hijack
  2. I'm looking to do this but I cannot find a way to remove the tray safely. Any ideas?
  3. Oh, I see. It was meant to be humorous. I'll get back to you when I find the funny part.
  4. Umm, I wasn't banging on in the slightest. Maybe go back and read what I wrote.
  5. Mine seems to be working today.
  6. Noticed my traffic was out not long after I updated maps. Likely related but not overly bothered as I have a decent Garmin for navigation
  7. Oh, I didn't realise I had to be tribal having bought a Skoda. My bad...
  8. Any chance you'd be willing to share what you did so that anyone else looking to do the same knows?
  9. Ask yourself, what do you want in a car and look from there. For £1500 you're looking at a 10-13yo car. Ignore the mileage and examine the service history. If you're looking at a diesel, when was the clutch and flywheel last done as they are pretty steep. Actually, this may not suit you but I've put my ebay link for my Signum in the marketplace here (mods: hope I'm allowed to mention that) Edit: just seen the end of the thread. A Signum is probably not what you are looking for. One has to wonder whether you've ever owned one? I've just traded up to a Superb after 6.5 years of Vx Signum ownership having done some 80k miles in that time and taking the odo to over 200k. Properly maintained they are very reliable. In fact, the only two issues I had with mine was a crankshaft sensor and an alternator. Any other parts were just wear and tear.
  10. For the record, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174335114660 links to the exact same listing without all the tracking BS attached.
  11. Oh! I've not managed to destroy several cars doing exactly that.
  12. Both of them? You're funny
  13. Don't look at Skoda, try either Eurocarparts or GSF. Failing that, see if there's a local(ish) exhaust manufacturer.
  14. I'd assume this is a coding issue and you need to find someone local to you. Not being rude but did you not think to ask before making the change?
  15. As far as I can make out no bodywork has been carried out at all. I'll be fitting a rear dash cam sometime during the summer so will be pulling off panels then and will have a good root around and follow up.
  16. Whilst I have now installed my dashcam (not hardwired just yet) there is no difference, still just 5Live gets tuned and then says no signal. Has to be an explanation for this even if it's just the DAB in Skodas is crap.
  17. My Oct 2015 L&K has a TV tuner. Pretty surprised when I found that.
  18. I swear to you that I can see no locks, hidden or otherwise on the outside. And I didn't even think about the passenger airbag & child locks.
  19. Where does it go? Seriously, I've been round the car several times and cannot locate any lock whatsoever.
  20. Updated maps on the sat nav and whilst flicking through the extensive menus, I also switched off the annoying blips from the alarm.
  21. It'd be helpful if you said who did the remap as well as what gains you have made
  22. I'll second this. In fact I had to change a set of 'good' rears ZV7s as they were cracking after 2 years on the car. I'd heartedly recommend Goodyear Vector 4seasons gen-2 as the grip, wear and noise makes them a joy to have on a car.
  23. New to me 2015 L&K
