  1. Looking that those pictures I have two things to say 1. Are you stone mad? 2. I hope you have good insurance if the answer to Q1 is yes.
  2. First off, welcome to the site Second, you've posted in the wrong place, this is for feedback of deals done on site 😕 Third, why do you want to change to an older car? Please tell me you're not doing that Irish thing of driving an audi makes you superior to other road users? Bottom line, your choice so long as you can afford to run it.
  3. So, with a change at work I'm finding myself more time to do stuff that has been left undone for ages. I sold my Vauxhall Signum last year and this is pretty much the last parts I have left from it. I only ever used the Comfort Unit, the rest stayed in the box, unused. A lot of us are used to the car telling us stuff as well as having 'fun' stuff like needle sweep. This is an add-on that allows that for older cars, specifically the ones listed in the title. I'd always intended to fit the video unit but time wasn't on my side. Have a look at the manufacturer links below for full details of what this setup is capable of. This listing includes the following: Comfort Unit - Running latest firmware VCU-01 Video Control Unit CAM-PS - Camera Power Switch Wiring - pre-wired tails for the Video Module & CAM-PS (Camera Power Switch) - These were done by plasma on the vec-c forum Modified RGB Cables (for when you don't want to do it yourself) RGB cable extensions (allows you to mount the VCU pretty much wherever you want) A rear camera (I may actually have another if I can find it) Full printed instructions https://photos.app.goo.gl/Qi3GUqbuUBL6UwvZ7 If you were to buy all of this new it would cost in excess of ÂĢ350. I'm asking ÂĢ175, including postage or near offer. This setup is suitable for the following Vauxhall models: Astra-H, Vectra-C, Signum and Zafira-B Manufacturers website links: https://www.pepas.cz/projekty/opel-mkj-cz/ https://www.pepas.cz/projekty/opel-vcu-cz/ The UK importer for pepas.cz is a chap that goes by the nick Woody across the Vx forums
  4. I've a set of these on the way, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004092174448.html
  5. I used to have a Signum (like a Vectra but better) and cranking sounded just fine on a new battery or being jumped. A new starter, a weak point on the diesels, cured it. Have you tried some Start Ya Bastid (aka easystart)?
  6. Nope but your bank statement will
  7. My first suggestion would've been to look at the tyres too. Try rotating the tyres front to rear and see if than makes any odds. You say it only happens over 50mph, is that in all gears or a particular one?
  8. @sepulchraveCan I suggest some new glasses? @Jackw123I assume the tuning company has experience with this turbo? If not, may get them to ring JW for a bit of troubleshooting?
  9. In theory, it shouldn't need the sticky outy bits, that top cut out should be enough. You know you have to put the plastic clip in first and then feed the new bulb in?
  10. Not if they light up, do the match up, ie, do the look like the exact same fitment and have the correct connector? I've used novsight in my previous car (a Signum) and they were faultless.
  11. VCDS 23.3.1 & HEX V2 in Watford - happy to scan and suck air through teeth when the scan is done
  12. Here's the VCDS owners list in VCDS owners
  13. VCDS is your best bet, there seems to be a few in NI but you'll have to travel, PM the closest to you VCDS owners. Obviously, the other alternative is to bite the bullet and go visit your mechanic.
  14. Reads to me like something is getting hot and struggling to cope as a result. Your best bet is to get codes read and maybe record some live data whilst tackling the Glenshane Pass
  15. Ignore what the box says. Do the fitments of both your old and new bulbs match up? If not, you need to return them for the correct set.
  16. Probably helps if you at least listed which engine it is you have.
  17. Looks lovely, proper colour too 😀
  18. I suspect you are missing R134a hence no cooling.
  19. I've not got a DSG but a quick google tells me that it may be something to do with mechatronics. Don't suppose the car is under warranty?
  20. I've generally learned it's better to pay attention to the OH than the keyboard 😅
  21. The DSG is so faulty that it broke your keyboard too? ðŸĪŠ
  22. No pics and no location. And you a Mod, tsk tsk 😅
  23. I'm assuming you're not using genuine bars as there are holes in the underside of the rails for pins to sit in.
