I have heard similar but a 52 week wait.

Ordered Feb 22 latest from dealer (monthly update) - No build date yet. According to my original delivery estimate it should be here by the end of August. 😞

I ordered in Feb and was told 24 weeks for delivery of an SEL IV PHEV with a range of options. This period is similar to Hairy-Joes. Last comms from my dealer was that had I ordered the same car now it would be 48 weeks. I trust what I can see on the spreadsheet and seems to be an average wait of 50weeks or so. Given I was expecting a new car mid 2022 when I had my old 2003 focus estate MOT'd i chose not have the focus serviced. I hope I don't regret this decision.

I have been having a go at Skoda about delivery times on facebook. I am asking for better information for dealers and customers and realistic delivery dates. Please feel free to add your voice and raise any delivery date concerns or delays you may have.

Zedboy - what size disclock?

Anyone use a Disc Lock or Stop lock on their Octavia SEL Mk4 two spoke steering wheel? Interested in comments. Any other aftermarket security measures anyone reccomends? Cat protection? Cheers in advance for any advice or reccomendations. BRS

Using the spreadsheet its good to see some people getting their cars after a very long wait. A uk skoda dealer advertising on facebook gave me the following in response to a question about Octavia delivery times. "our Octavia iVs have a delivery time of approximately 39 weeks for the Estate, and 52 weeks for the Hatch, depending on engine, options and other factors"

Numbers in the spreadsheet are increasing. Once again thanks to its creator. Also thank you to all those willing to share their dates and details it gives a reliable accurate source of what is really happening. I look forward to the time when we see people getting their long awaited cars. Today I got an update from my UK dealer. My car ordered feb 22 had a delivery estimate of 24 weeks. I am told cars ordered today have a delivery estimate of 48 weeks. Dealer did offer to refund my deposit. I assume my delivery will be closer to 48 weeks than 24.

As I say a holistic view of our common problem would be most welcome from my perspective. We know there are many waiting and some have been waiting a long time. I also see delivery estimates moving right. So understanding where all stand collectively would help manage expectations. Reporting delivery of new vehicles would also help as I hear many say they are waiting but next to none say “my car has arrived”. if anyone thinks a collective view is a bad idea then please have your say this is a community of interest and different interests will exist

Anyone on here know how we may create a table / spreadsheet showing what we each oreded and when with the ability to update it when we get news. Be good to hear about new cars being delivered and to be able to see if wait times are going up or comming down. As a starter for ten. Which dealer?

SEL IV ordered Feb 22 Original estimated delivery date mid August. Latest monthly update from dealer - "No build date yet". Disapointing.

Not good news in this press release https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/skoda-auto-achieves-6-6-return-on-sales-in-first-quarter-despite-major-challenges/ Given the backlog that seemed to extist this time last year. sales vs deliveries suggests backlog building. Prodution of the octavia down. Numbers of cars built vs delivered to customers suggests an increase in part built unfinished. When one factors in new models and the focus on those I don't see an improving picture.

Is anyone receiving shiney new metal?

I suspect the information one would like would prove embarrassing to Skoda. How many of each type of car are being built each month? How many are sat waiting parts once built? How many are actually being delivered and to which country’s? When I ordered mine I was advised it was a 26 week delay to delivery. Other vehicles in the range were 52 weeks plus. Perhaps I should have gone for a V60.

Ordered an SEL IV in feb and was told delivery estimated 19 August 22. What are the chances of August?
