75 engine is too slow, its like driving a normal tdi that has one massive flat spot from 2.5k onwards.

I would imagine it's the same as the mk1 fabia, just held in with clips. I used a knife wrapped in cloth to not damage the surrounding dash and levered mine out that way

any basic computer will read off them, except laptops which sometimes struggle for power when running external usb devices.
