  2. if the car has done some miles it could be distorted discs (just replace them), but i would pop the front wheels off, and double check for a mistake , and if everything is loose, and check all is in the right place .
  3. i was told that if it was very hot in the car (left out in the sun ) you use the recirculate, so the air gets cold fast , when the temp is about right ,you then flip it back to fresh air .
  4. i used the trapezoid cover and got a phone mount and drilled a hole in the middle and joined the two . but the clips that keep the cover down were not strong enough , so i removed the screws that hold down the connector plastic below extended two threaded rods into the mountings below . and drilled another two holes in the trapezoid cover and bolted it down . its strong and looks good .
  5. use alcohol to clean your window before sticking things , and the cars fuse box is by the drivers right knee . very easy to run a cable to the rear view mirror .

  8. looks like the numpty before me , has added some wire to the light . i have just found some twisted wires taped up poorly further down the cable . so it not original cable . just some ones bodge .

  10. That is what i am thinking. the blue and white is negative the red and yellow is positive the third wire? i have added some spade connectors and heat shrinked them up seems to work now . thanks guys .
  11. Here is the picture the colours look like white line on blue yellow line on brown and last but not least yellow line on red sorry about the delay . and i appreciate your help .

Good evening as my number plate light was dangling, I thought I would upgrade it to an L.E.D. one . it arrived today I tried to fit it but the wires was just stuffed in the terminals . and then fell out . there are three wires ? does anyone know what the colour codes for the wires ? and what is the third wire is for ?
  14. I have upgraded my head unit for a dab Sony unit. but I was wondering about increasing the lower frequencies.

  16. Silly Question. What speakers sound the best in the doors?
  17. it could be down to a dirty or faulty aux socket (give it a spray of contact solvent and plug in the plug a few times) or a faulty connecting lead ?
  18. I tried changing my dual bulbs (half running lights half side lights) I put in the led bulbs (blew a fuse (that was not fun finding)) I have now taken them out. and put in the tinted bulb to remove the yellow glow.

I have just finished installing my Sony car stereo (what a Pelava) I purchased some loom cables and got stuck in. all went well the dab antenna, the mic, the loom, the surround. then found it didn't turn off (on to the internet) found you have to "T" off an ignition switched supply from the fuse box. now all is good, The reason I'm typing here is, the speakers supplied in the car a very good. I wapped the sound up real loud and they sound great.
