  1. Several inconsistencies in the recall scope remain unexplained. The Cupra Born is affected for vehicles built between February 7, 2022, and April 21, 2024. However, the Volkswagen ID.3 — produced alongside the Born on the same assembly line at Zwickau — is only affected for vehicles manufactured between June 24, 2023, and August 23, 2024. The KBA documents do not explain why the ID.3’s affected period is shorter despite sharing the same production line. A similar gap appears with the ID.4 and ID.5. Both models are typically built on a second Zwickau production line together with the Audi Q4 e-tron and its Sportback variant. However, neither Audi model is included in the recall. The Volkswagen Group recall specifically targets battery modules manufactured between February 2022 and August 2024. Most units of the Ford Explorer and Capri currently on the road were produced or delivered after this specific window, or used batches that did not contain the identified manufacturing defect.
  2. evs at auction including a 15 month old id7 for £28,400
  3. They have a purpose and that is to enable people to drive and claim they own a New car that they cannot afford to buy. They also enable people who want a new car every few months to do so without losing a fortune in Depreciation so it is cheaper than buying them themselves. So both arguments are valid
  4. I would have thought if any car was most suited to being an ev it would be one that is virtually guaranteed to have it's own garage and destination charging it would be a Rolls Royce
  5. I expect public charging pries will be going up if the war continues. Commercial prices are not capped
  6. Did you download Skoda connect app or MySkoda app

  10. Both is the answer Skoda storyboard MY26 All variants of the new Škoda Enyaq support high charging rates: up to 165 kW for the Enyaq 60 and a maximum of 175 kW for the Enyaq 85x. 11. Because of the varying sizes of batteries, when looking at the speed it's best to think of miles added per minute. if 60kw charging = 1kw = 4mile per minute. When sat in my enyaq i have seen the screen say charging at 8 miles a minute but not for long.
  12. The bigger the battery the faster the speed needs to be to get to the 80%. The Enyaq 60 therefore could be argued charges faster 10 to 80 is around 42kw 42/28x60 only needs an average speed of 90kw.
  13. I cannot see how that can be done with the enyaqs curve it would need 120kw charging for the full 28 minutes . Assuming 10% is 8kw and 80% is 64kw = 56kw delivered in 28 mins (56/28x60=120)
  14. This curve from fastned shows a different story. Speed is subject to many variables too. Like charge level when you plug it in, too cold or too hot (Battery temp not weather). Do you sit there watching it? Because it will start low then ramp up and iff you don't watch it could be slowing down when you come back so you don't see the higher speeds https://www.fastnedcharging.com/en-gb/brands-overview/skoda?model=Enyaq%20iV%2080%20%2F%2085

  16. I agree the dealer should have showed them how to set up their phone on collection but 2nd hand dealers may have no clue, that's why I asked for age of car.
  17. Evri is increasing its own corporate fleet of electric vehicles and e-cargo bikes, particularly in London, Bristol, Oxford, and Cambridge.
  18. What age is the car and which app did you download?
  19. Did you inform them of the lower quotes?
  20. Electric vehicle registrations rose 2.8% to 21,840 units, but market share dipped to 24.2%, marking the second month of year-on-year decline. This partly reflects the strong start to 2025, when buyers rushed to register EVs ahead of April tax changes. https://www.carwow.co.uk/news/10361/smmt-new-car-registrations-february-2026
  21. I agree all the grants and inducements should be stopped and the money invested into a National battery storage project to bring the overall cost of energy away from being linked to fossil fuels and prove that it will be cheaper. We cannot justify more wind/solar power infrastructure if there are already times when it is wasted or paid for but not used. I'm spartacus
  22. It was hard to see in the autotrader photos thanks Just about make out the words location.
  23. Having now looked at a few 2025 L&K models on Autotrader I think it is only shown in the software when adjusting sound settings AI says it was changed from a label to an embossed or engraved design on the door chrome but i haven't found any examples
