  1. What is the furthest you can go at a consistent speed and how fast?
  2. A GPF does not use petrol to burn off the soot, the soot is burned by the temperature inside the gpf. A good run on the motorway at over 50mph consistently should clear the lamp. Revving its nuts off will just create more soot. that is why coasting downhill whilst hot can work. People made this same mistake with DPFs revving hard under load creates soot.

  5. Can you not split the pdf into 3 or four smaller pdf files with adobe? "If you only need part of that long PDF, you can easily split it into individual chapters, separate pages or remove them. That way, you're free to mark up, save or send only what you need." https://www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/how-to/split-pdf-pages.html
  6. You were lucky if you only blew a fuse. Mercedes Sprinter vans snap the wiper arms.
  7. Did you not try to start the Octavia whilst connected? Never heard of a jump start being trying to charge the battery with another car.
  8. I am sorry you think you need to be sorry. Sometimes my posts are too brief and can be misconstrued. I wasn't highlighting the fact i had posted the same before you in that way. My meaning was that I too thought that was the place but it turned out to be the wrong language
  9. I posted that link too and it goes to Only option

  11. I did do that which works fine stopping it freezing up, but it didn't stop the switch mechanism failing and needing replacement. Luckily it was still within warranty and i got the opportunity to watch the repair procedure on my drive. So next time I can do it myself.
  12. I am not on FB, does your car ever say "Move over one lane to the right?"
  13. @domhnall Is there a way to contact Skoda regarding strange Sat nav directions. Mine has a tendency to say "Move one lane to the right" on approach to an exit. Two examples Northbound M6 heading for 21a M62 exit and again M62 where it meets M602. Both times you would be moving out of the correct lane then within 100yds be told to take the exit..
  14. Cars out now will be model year 2026. MY26 Next year they will be building MY27
  15. The UK government decided to not progress with a Contract for Difference (CfD) for the Morocco – UK Power Project. This decision was announced in June 2025, and left the project without an off-take route. This was despite it being privately financed in its entirety, with Xlinks taking on all investment risk. Xlinks continues to explore alternatives to bring the Project’s value to both Morocco and Britain. You can view the official statement on the decision by clicking here.
  16. All cars will last as long as someone is prepared to pay to repair it.
  17. An attempt to get some support back?
  18. I expect the reduction to be off the standard tariff I doubt it will be off the off -peak tariffs
  19. I have only had an Ev 14 months and I am under no illusion that that the ongoing costs of having it are not going to go up year on year.
  20. Did you set the times to nil then get out and lock leave it a while then get in and set it back? Other than that now you have told the bms the new battery details, you could disconnect the battery and let it shutdown then reconnect.
  21. Try adjusting the timers in the settings
