  1. Hi @Bap33 , No, disconnecting the sensor triggered a new error - No communication with NOx sensor bank 1 sensor 3 , basically confirming the physical location of the sensor. Initially the error was implausible signal and it was intermittent, triggering every other 2 days , I didnt know which sensor to buy ( without going to the dealership and pay a premium on the part + labor + diagnosing the car ) . So in order to phyisically locate the sensor I did the following: Cleared all the errors on the car with VCDS ( but anyother good tester should work fine ) Went underneath the car and disconnected the sensor which I thought it is faulty With the sensor disconnected I started the car and scanned for DTCs now you have 2 options: a. If you disconnected the correct sensor, you would have the same error name but with a new description ( no communication - instead of - implausible signal ) b. If you disconnected another sensor, you would have another error; example : Particle Matter sensor - no communication - this means that you disconnected another sensor so you should plug it bag, clear the errors and then disconnect another sensor, until you get it right. Of course, first you have to do some digging and narrow down the area where the sensor is located. hopefully I answered your question, I do apologize for my English, it's not my first language.
  2. Quick update: That is the sensor in question, I crawled under the car today and disconnected it and scanned it with VCDS and now I have NOx Bank 1 Sensor 3 No Communication, after reconnecting the sensor, everything is fine. I will let you know once I change it with the CB sensor
  3. Thank you, @Breezy_Pete , I found the above mentioned sensor (termination CB ) at a fraction of the price ( ~200 euro ) , coming off a new car (0 km ) which was in an accident during transport, I'm waiting to see if anyone else knows if these 2 are interchangeble or not. In the end, without a clear answer I will go ahead and order the AH/CH sensor. Cheers.
  4. Hello folks, I'm the new owner of a used Kodiaq, first registration 2022 , 2.0 TDI 147kw ( 200 CP ) 4x4 - DTUA engine - 163 k km on the clock After 1 km of driving I got the MIL ON check engine light , upon scanning with VCDS I got 2 faults: Particale Matter sensor - Electrical fault NOx Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 - Implausible siglan Cleared the errors, after 1-2 km of driving I got the check engine light again, now only the PM sensor - Electrical fault error appeared. I went ahead and ordered a new PM sensor and replaced it and cleared the warnings. everything worked fine for about 20 km, then the Check Engine light came up again, upon testing I got 2 errors: NOx Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 3 - Implausible Signal ( P23AD 00 ) SCR NOx Catalyst Bank 1 - Efficiency too low ( P20EE 00 ) Currently I cleared the erorrs and nothing new came up for about 10-15 km, but I am expecting to have the same error again. Anyone knows where this sensor is located exactly? I think it's the one located right next to the Particle Matter sensor on the exhaust . If that's so, the sensor code is 05L 907 807 AH. Does anyone know if 05L 907 807 CB or any other termination works? The new sensor looks the same, it's still made by Bosch . Thank you, Madalin
  5. Hi there, I just upgrade last week from 1803 to 1941 as I could not find the link for 1896 anywhere . It worked smooth. hardware H56 HMI HW H44 HMI SW 2088
  6. After I saw a few posts of people going directly to 1941 from 1803 and having the same hardware info as myself ( H56), I have taken the chance and upgraded to 1941 directly . The upgrade went smooth and took about 30 minutes . About a week passed and everything seems in order.
  7. Hello, does anybody have the 1896 update file? I am on 1803 as well . thank you, madalin
  8. awesome! Now I just need to find a way to do the sfd unlock , are you from Bucharest ?
  9. Hello, this seems to be from another car, I think it is from ID cars, right ? I don’t know if this is supported by Octavia Mk4.
  10. Anyone knows if there is like an 'advanced' kessy function for mk4? To lock the doors when you're walking away, without having to touch the door handle? ( Just like Renault) Thank you !
  11. Hi @blackhawk77 I think pin 3 is for the white LED around the usb C ports, to see them in the dark. You don't need to get pin 4 to the back, that is the data pin.
  12. Hi there, I found a spare fuse box circuit that was activated with the ignition and I used a 12v fuse extender kit + a 12v to 5 v convertor. After that I routed the cable up the left side pillar all the way to the centre mirror . Once I get into the car ( and don’t forget ) I’ll take some pictures.
  13. That's indeed a better view, it would have definetly helped as I struggled a bit, luckily I didn't break any plastic clips. Cheers!
  14. I managed to take it off using these steps: Pull 3 and 4 outwards and then slide the big cover forwards and that's it. Thank you
  15. Hi guys, Can anyone provide steps on how to take out the lane assist camera plastic cover? I don’t have the USB C port and I want to route a cable from the fuse box to the right side of the mirror. cheers!
