What is the current software version?
The big difference that I noted was that settings in the navigation such as favourite locations were not saved on 1804 but were in 1941. In the UK my vehicle has just received an OTA upgrade from 1941 to 1985. I do not know if this happens in India.

Video input to Infotainment?
I use a USB A memory stick plugged into an A to C convertor in the front. The software finds it and allows me to select by album, artist, genre etc. I can also access it directly as I can select USB source from the top level of the selection menu. Video is available when stationery by selecting USB as the source and swiping left on the right hand side of the screen. There have been earlier questions on this if you search. I have a cable plugged into the other USB C socket and a second cable for charging plugged into one of the rear sockets and then stored in the tween seats box.

Media In cable for Ipod on Mk4
My 71 plate has a USB data source which I have used to access music stored on my files (as data and not played by the phone). The 30 pin to USB cable should allow access to the iPod if it can see the music as stored files.

Issues with Key Fob and Seat Inclination button
If you have changed the battery in the key to a known good battery then you probably need a new key. You will need to get this from a Skoda dealer as they will update the Skoda database that the new key belongs to your car. You will then be able to set yourself as the user. In any event I recommend that you run a factory reset to remove all the settings from the old user. You will then run as 'Guest' until you can take ownership.

NEW: software 1985
This morning my car asked to download the new software. 30 minutes later it had finished and asked me when to update, with a warning not to switch it on for 30 minutes while the update took place. Returning 4 hours later it was complete. On the way home I had a further short update. Everything looks fine.

Retro fit Android auto ?
Carlink has to include the interface for AA and to accept any changes to AA. I would consider that this interface is part of AA on the car as it is proprietary to Google..

Retro fit Android auto ?
Carlink provides support for Android or Apple. On the infotainment sctrrn you have to select Android Auto or Apple Carplay.

Retro fit Android auto ?
When I got my car last year the software had not been updated. I had to show them the Skoda statement for used cars and a picture showing my software version before they agreed to update it. The latest version is 1985. The dealer may claim that it is an over the air upgrade but I would push him to supply the car fully updated. I have only used wired android auto. Mine doe not have Adaptive Cruise control. It has a function that can be set to standard cruise control or speed limiter. In the details it was described as a speed limiter. I am very happy with the car it is a PHEV and most of our miles are short so it is electric.

Retro fit Android auto ?
My 71 plate Octavie had AA in the system when it came with V1804 of the software. It has been updated to 1941 and still has it. Check the infotainment software version (scroll o the second page on the infotainment screen to find 'system'. If it is an approved Skoda used car insist that the dealer updates the software to the latest version.

NEW: software 1985
I see you have a PHEV. There is a comment elsewhere on this forum that Skoda have discontinued the ability to switch a PHEV between electric and hybrid modes and to remove the ability in hybrid of setting a minimum charge level for the battery. ie it runs like a new MHEV. Since you updated to 1985 do you still have the full PHEV management functionality?

Octavia iV mk4 drive modes
My 71 plate PHEV has this option. If I am on the motorway and have switched to hybrid I set the required battery level to around 50% so that I have battery available at the end of the journey. What is the version of your infotainment software? I am on 1941.

Error: electronic parking brake
My car has just been serviced by the dealer. They agree that the message appears on opening the door for a few seconds but diagnostics shows no fault so I have been told to bring it back if it comes on while driving.

What is the current software version?
Since it is a 2024 car I wonder if there is new software. There is a report that version 1985 is the last version of the current software.

- Dashcam Fitting
The spec sheet states that this requires 5V. 2.5A. My Garmin dashcam, which works with the windscreen C port draws 1.5A; so I suspect that your dashcam requires more power than the USB C port can deliver.- Daz48
The SOS module and infotainment are known issues and will require a dealer or independent specialist visit to fix. both are described here if you search the forum. If you bought the car from a Skoda dealer then they should have performed all these updates to the car before selling it.- Update of navigation maps
Yes. Your version is October 2024. The free download version is now June 2024.- Update of navigation maps
Previously on 23.12. I left the car switched on with the keys (if is off the road and in front of the study where I was sitting) and checked after about 45 minutes. You need to switch off and then on again before the display shown the new version.- Update of navigation maps
Downloaded the new file (..EU_202448..) and installed the new maps. The display now shows Navigation Database 24.06.- Error:electronic parking brake
My brake appears fine. I had a week in the Lake District and I was parking with the front wheels at an angle when I had to park on a slope. - Dashcam Fitting
