Disable alarm
Have checked on my 24 reg estate and no button. Must have been removed as a cost-cutting option.

How do I disable the alarm when lockinv the car? Handbook says long press on key fob when locking but didn’t work on recent ferry trip.

Software failure not so Superb
My (December 2024) superb went in for the 2 day November update and it was kept 5 days as the software was difficult to install and needed several resets, but 3 weeks is unreasonable. With the update lots of minor niggles were solved

Accessories
Yes, pleased with it. It does not project far enough to interfere with the rear passenger either. A good bit of German/Czec engineering.

Accessories
My L&K estate was supplied as standard with a tablet holder clipped to. The passenger seat headrest so that kids in the back can watch films and cartoons. I don’t have any kids but I do often have coats on the back seat. Skoda have a coat hanger accessory that clips onto the same fitting and replaces the useless, for me, tablet holder.

Upgrade from Mk3 to Mk4?
1st service completed. When I booked in I asked them to check the quiet Laura phone warning. On collection was told the garage had turned up the Laura voice volume. Result. No change. Other Laura announcements are at normal volume as they were before. Looks like we’re stuck with quiet Laura for the phone-left-in-car warning.

Upgrade from Mk3 to Mk4?
But I do have a warning triangle in a box clipped inside the rear hatch.

Upgrade from Mk3 to Mk4?
Think that could be a function of compressing and shortening the mapping images. Am annoyed about no dipstick as the engine is the same as the mk 3 and I have a removable rubber bung where thd dipstick would go. Another difference from the mk 3 is only 1 umbrella now. As soon as I realised I bought a second for the passenger side to make the car complete.

Upgrade from Mk3 to Mk4?
After my July software update and ACC stalk change I have full maps in both the main screen and the virtual dashboard in front of the driver. Need to cycle the options on the steering wheel button to view it. No physical dipstick on my 1.5 petrol engined PHEV but I see TrickleJohn has the diesel. 12 volt sockets stay live but not the USB-C Sockets. 1st service on Monday but no problems to report other than Laura whispering the Phone left in Car warning. She used to tell me loudly.

Software failure not so Superb
Hi HK, I ordered my PHEV estate 30/08/24 and collected it 16/12/24 so it had the big Sept 2024 update. In June 2025 I had the ACC fail together with other ADAS issues. Software update in July and ACC stalk replaced. If yours was before Sept 2024 we ate on different issues. Regards John625

Only use carplay occasionally but no problem with it. No problems with temp settings left or right.

Proactive Passenger Protection alarm
Stuartie, I have an L&K PHEV estate new in December 2024 with Skoda towbar. Once deployed and trailer socket plugged in, very easy as the socket is on the swing-out towbar, the car detects Trailer Connected and disables all the rear warning devices. Very pleased with the car except for some aspects of the ADAS. Auto Emergency Brakes can catch you out, much documented elsewhere, but ACC and Lane Assist work well. Cavernous boot but PHEV leaves no space for spare wheel. When tyres need replacing will buy Run Flats.

Servicing - Inspection & Oil Change
My Superb new in December 2024 when I was told service every 12 months. MySkoda app says service in 481 days which seems more like a 24 month service interval. Who should I believe.

Dash option Map view - no starting
My Superb has had the 'mapping loading’ message since new in December 2024. Sent months being promised an update. Went in for the ACC stick replacement in July and they kept it for 4 days to do all the software updates. Maps now appear in the virtual cockpit and ACC works perfectly. Hope you have similar luck.

Speed Warning
Hi BabyDog, I too hate the constant ping at 1mph over the limit. Press steering wheel button to bring up ADAS menu. One click on the right scroll wheel, press the scroll wheel and press button again. I can do it without taking my eyes off the road now. My HUD informs me of speed limits and everyone is happy.

Items on Goodbye Screen
Scroll to the bottom. Didn’t know it did that. Have just reset exactly as advised. Thank you so much.

Items on Goodbye Screen
Budgie, Yes that is the screen I am referring to. I see the pencil icon but cannot see how to add items to the list. The - icon deletes rows but I do not see a + icon to restore them.

Items on Goodbye Screen
I have deleted the battery charge information line from the Goodbye screen and cannot find how to restore it. I have checked through the digital manual but it does not refer to this. Can anyone help. Note to self- the bar symbol on the right side does not open a menu item. It deletes that line of information.

Thule Wingbar Evo will 118s fit with the right foot pack (7106)
Quite agree with your point on the security of open rails and I think the change to closed rails is a styling thing. Shame but we’re stuck with it.

Thule Wingbar Evo will 118s fit with the right foot pack (7106)
Had Farad aero bars on my last estate. When I switched to my current 2024 Superb estate the roof rails are closed type and the Farads had to go. Lovely bars though Recommended.
