There is a facility to dip the door mirrors when reverse is selected. It is enabled in Vehicle-vehicle-Exterior-Mirrors This is selected on my car but the mirrors do not move. Anyone else experienced this?

Superb L&K PHEV Estate cobalt blue. Manufacturer's options: Family Package, HUD, Retractable tow bar.. Dealership options: Lifeshine, You were wise choosing the rear wiper option. My last car was a Citroën C5X, no rear wiper the shape of the car and airflow was supposed to sweep the water off the rear screen. Never worked. Ordered the Skoda 30 August, quoted 6 - 8 weeks delivery. collected 16 December. Early in December I was told car was at in Germany waiting for a ship. Agree with you, pot luck when it gets transported. Hope you are as pleased as I am with mine. Best car ever.

I seem to have had the December update without any message that I noted. I now have ChatGPT attached to Laura and I can ask her virtually anything now. Using Laura now needs to be more precise, I recently wanted navigating to a certain village and she replied with a wealth of information and history of that village but without directing me to it. Thanks Terry, I have Goodyear Eagles on 18" wheels. Mine was built 14/11/2024 which was a Thursday. Had a good look at the menu system yesterday and found the surround sound settings and the graphic equaliser. Also tried the auto parking for the first time. A bit scary as it moves in so close to the car it is parking behind that the warning buzzer sounds, but it finished in the right place.

Just read TerryMcK on surround sound and car-spots-roundabout topic. I had not noticed that, my Predictive Cruise Control will steer around corners and roundabouts but without slowing down, Where is the select ON for surround sound. I also tend to reach down for the gear change but getting used to it and it is a better place to have it, now I know its there.

Now 2 months into my IV estate ownership and I have grsped most of the driving gadgets. Now into the Sat Nav,I see that double tapping a place on the screen marks it as a Favourite but does anyone know how to edit or delete favourites? My Auto Hold remains on and I am not getting the amber Driving assist lights that seem to feature on this forum. Counting myself as a happy owner.

In my first few weeks I had 2 occasions of No Electric Drive. Consult Workshop. Seems I was forcing it to charge to 100% when the car was default set to 80%. Did this by plugging it in twice. Now I do a single charge from my house charge box to 80% and have had no problems. If yours is no ICE drive either though sounds more serious.

I have the L&K PHEV estate and the 12 v battery is behind a cover in the boot on the left side.

Agreed. I had a Cupra on loan which had Autohold and I complained to dealer it was a feature I would expect on the upmarket Superb L&K. We went through the menus together and found it.

I’m away from my car for a couple of weeks but as I remember it was Vehicle-Vehicle-Settings-Brakes on the main screen.

Autohold is on the mk4 but not enabled by default. It can be set by the user.

Ordered my Mk4 L&K on 30/08/24, it was built on 14/11/24 and collected on 22/12/24. No mention of problems with the virtual pedal and mine has it working perfectly.

You can use the From Start as a trip counter. Once selected on the right rotary press and hold that right rotary and the From Start will all reset to zero. No idea how the From Refuelling knows when to reset. Is there a sensor on the fuel flap or does it know when the car gets heavier.

The Mk4 with matrix lights has a headlight setting in the main screen for Left Hand Driving or Right Hand Driving. Alters the light pattern for Continental driving.

How do you activate speed camera alerts?

Great, does that mean you have the map view in Virtual dashboard or just the main screen.

Not s great problem and we have our share of speed humps and speed pads where we live. Ours is the PHEV version so maybe the thumping great battery stabilises things a bit.

Have had no software issues, just over 600 miles in, I believe the issues were before the big system update in September 2024. Cars built after that no troubles.

Mine does exactly that. Under ACC drives at 30 in a 30 limit, when it passes a 40 limit sign the speed goes tip to 40, it recognises a National speed limit sign and drives at the appropriate speed, ie 70 on dual carriageways and 60 on other roads.

Have to agree with you there, my wife has the same problem after surgery, the seat belt pulls on the scar. We tried fitting the seat belt extenders we retained from our Citroën but the extender buckle will not clip into the Skoda socket.
