  1. That strobe looks to be a prime candidate for searching for similar items on AliExpress - hopefully at a more realistic price! I understand there are mini trackers available too which might benefit if 'losing' the drone in undergrowth? As for seeing the drone half a mile away - I thought the permitted flying radius was 500m? I bought a Mavic Pro when they came out a few years back and doubt it's even been airborne 10 hours. I had learner 'anxiety' and was apprehensive about using it - but to get more proficient needed more practice! This was all pre CAA shenanigans so I'd have to swot up prior to taking to the sky again. One program that I used was only available on iPhones and made amazing 360° photos and was worth it just for that.
  2. There has been a recent rule update which involves drones under 250g but I can't remember what the implications are. Maybe best to check out before restricting yourself to the smaller versions?
  3. It looks like Boris has decided that you aren't!
  4. They won’t then have cause to say it’s going to be illegal if you manage it.
  5. There's lots on the UK eBay site.
  6. I've not come across a universal key before but maybe just install a Bolero and hope that it's not considered to be too shiny for future thieves?
  7. The dealer won't care at all - don't start worrying as there's nothing at all to worry about.
  8. Just hand it back with the rubber mats and sell the others.
  9. It reminds me of this one I spotted in an antiques emporium of all places just outside Inverness. Useful for when @Aspman's Range Rover can't quite get right in amongst the game? If the weather's that bad then obviously he can can use the attached caravan too!
  10. I doubt it'll lead to a problem but a poor design IMHO.

Why not use his details to log on instead?
  12. I seem to recollect that the earlier models didn't initially have Adblue but can't be 100% sure. If you get a car with it then you can't run without it - you get plenty of impending doom refill warnings prior to that though.
  13. Are the shutters typically for security Phil?
  14. That’s a good idea as I’ve recently ‘upgraded’ a bulb which is on a dimmer switch to a smart one. Unfortunately not everyone in the house is smart enough to remember as there’s other dimmers and normal switches on the same switch plate.
  15. My car has a tow bar and from memory it also a red/green LED alongside indicating if it’s locked or not - does yours? There should also be a hole in the diffuser for the tow bar to drop from.
  16. It looks like I've got a few similar 'missing' icons as you have. They hadn't been noticed previously as that type of view hadn't been selected. TBC
  17. I've got quite a few bits including Echo Dots and Shows as well as smart plugs, Lifx bulbs, a Google display and some TV's. I'm not so keen on the plugs and lights only being able to connect to 2.4 GHz WiFi when the Amazon gear does 5 GHz too. The bulbs were chosen over Hue as they are brighter, didn't require a separate hub and the software seems quite configurable. Unfortunately they sometimes go offline and require power cycling to reset. The initial setup is a pain too as invariably I have to do a phone power cycle to ensure everything sets up correctly. The TV's having smart features is just a by-product of the manufacturer and isn't being used as it seems a bit flaky. TBH it's not something that I'm missing.
  18. Actually I see it that he has more problems.
  19. Maybe you should add your location in the profile settings as other people won't realise that you're not in the UK.
  20. Do other stations show the large icon? The reason for asking is (IIRC & on a S3 Columbus) I thought that only showed if listening to EU DAB stations which had a slightly different version of DAB (DAB+) available. I will check the car later just to confirm though.
  21. @peps1 please only use English.
  22. What you're doing is exactly the same as lots of others have done previously. Unfortunately I can't remember the ships that are regularly used though.
  23. Due to the potential problem in using clone cables, Briskoda has stated in the Site Guidelines that discussion regarding these is not allowed. When an OEM cable is purchased then people will be able to assist further.
  24. If you have a genuine VCDS cable then the code will show as you hover over the security code box. What version are you using?
