  1. Hopefully no paint damage was caused by the screwdriver? Plastic trim removal tools may have been a less risky option?
  2. It does have a code but is linked to your car so won't be needed. It's only required if it goes in another car.
  3. eBay has lots available - 250ml should easily be enough and red would be my preferred choice. No offence @MICKSVRS! You might need some carb cleaner or similar to ensure the callipers are totally clean first though.

I don't know (even for the odd occasions) if I could manage with a boot instead of a hatch. Now when the Model Y becomes available............ Actually I'm sure I could manage but a hatchback is 100% the better option.
  5. This reply from @PLEASE was incorrectly sent to the Mod Team when it should have appeared here:- I took car back to garage yesterday and will advise the outcome. Fingers crossed that it is a software matter and not a misdiagnosis :(
  6. In the UK washers are only mandatory with xenon headlights and I presume yours are LED? <<<<< P.S. Can you please update your profile as different countries will have different laws.
  7. A new section has been added in time for the incoming model. If there's some topics that need moving then hit the Report button and we'll sort it.
  8. It looks like there was initially a triple thread post from the OP so one has been removed and the others combined and moved to the correct forum.
  9. Yes I can see why that phone doesn't get updated regularly lol. I think computer bioses normally get their main updates early on in their lifecycle so there may not even be another for @Robjon's computer for quite some time. The initial question was self answered though:-
  10. Think of your laptop as just another electronic device similar to a mobile phone. Now ask yourself if that (usually) gets updated every month and you have your answer. I would doubt the laptop had firmware upgrades quite so often but they are done for a reason.
  11. I had a sensor damaged on a Peugeot 407 by a novice tyre fitter. It was replaced at a cost of about £100 then. Fast forward to 2013 when it cost me £125 to spec them on a new VW and they worked perfectly until selling the car a few years later. The big negative was that I'd have needed to fit new sensors in the winter wheels to get the same functionality. Something catered for with the 'old' system!
  12. Just throwing this out there but would the car not realise in what country mode to be in (via GPS) and adjust accordingly - front/rear light etc?
  13. There will be other issues such as lights too.
  14. I don't think (but am happy to be proved wrong) that any Skoda cars have the 'advanced' version as standard - maybe not even as an option either.
  15. FYI @Amandak we prefer there to be only one section used per topic.
  16. Looks okay to me.
  17. There is most definitely a very interesting topic on running in on here........somewhere! Hopefully someone will hyperlink it for you.
  18. ATTENTION - Please take note. Briskoda is a unique forum based on a shared community spirit - one where we expect all contributions to be amicable and respectful. Unfortunately a number of recent posts have fallen short of this requirement so please keep this in mind with any further submissions. Our Site Guidelines have additional information if required. Thank you.
  19. Is it being replaced or are you just sticking with the other two cars in your profile?
  20. I don't have your system but if it follows convention then the auto zoom will occur when you have an 'A' inside the magnifying glass. Click on the glass and you should see 'Auto' appear somewhere for you to activate it.
