  1. I had one of those in my 2007 VRS and had the same issue. It required tucking behind the glovebox IIRC.
  2. Has there been any update on this @Redboy?
  3. With a car of that age I'd guess it's a coincidence.
  4. I'd await confirmation about what I said earlier but when it's set up correctly it's just plug in and go.
  5. Another thing to ensure is that you are using a good quality cable.
  6. I may be wrong but seem to think that a car of that age didn't get smartlink as standard - just the hardware that could be activated (for a fee).
  7. @FrankNicklinare you sure that the Honda spacesaver will fit? It needs to be a 5x112 PCD.
  8. Have you tried putting it in the Classifieds? I'm sure it definitely has value so I'd remove it and then there's not quite so much haste to get rid of it.
  9. We need the Tesla-Volkswagon collaboration that's been mooted to go ahead. Tesla tech and VW build quality!
  10. That looks quite smart.
  11. The last question was to Shy as that was the reason for the test.
  12. Disclaimer: I'm going on how my Superb acts but in essence it will be exactly the same as your Kodiak. The S3 doesn't have the option to lock the boot as described above but that wasn't what the initial problem was and my reply was about being able to open the boot from a considerable distance away. Anyway, going back to what I asked earlier, have you tried to open the boot with the key inside the pouch as the pouch may not block transponder and kessy signals as they may be operating on different frequencies? BTW, are you sure about your dog's driving capabilities?

If you ask then it can be.
  14. However have you tried pressing the tailgate opening button when the fob is within the pouch? I appreciate the pouch will stop the 'open door' signal being relayed but not too sure about a deliberate fob press being acted upon. It can be quite a bit further away than that too.
  15. If you want to chance your luck then be prepared for the police being better equipped to catch you out. Number plates can be read at up to 1.5km away (but currently set at 750m) but what's worse is that they now work in the dark! Read the Auto Express article here.
  16. AP Tyres at Parkgate might be worth ringing.
  17. If it was in darkness as farty asks, was the light switch in auto (if it has that feature)?
  18. As far as I know all the offers associated with a PCP are valid even if you pay the balance off days after taking delivery.
  19. If you have different 'driving modes' on that car then that will alter how responsive the pedal is but you could also think about adding a 'pedal box' as that would help in all modes.
  20. Please only use English on Briskoda. Hello I bought a 2010 Skoda Superb. I then want to connect my cell phone to the radio but unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. When I press the button on the phone it goes into mute mode and unfortunately I couldn't find it under System. I already have it once in the factory setting again unfortunately without success. I hope you can help me.
  21. You 100% can. EV's are the way forward and at this time I'm only living the experience through other member's eyes. That will change going forward though.
  22. .......and now it's been moved to the right place.
  23. Just to elaborate - if Chrome is used as your browser then the option to translate will be given
  24. I'm not too sure if the mk4's have the 'goes to sleep' key but it is possible to disable the keyless entry by exiting and locking via the fob - followed by touching the door handle a few seconds later.
