  1. I take it you've submitted enquiries on the various breaker networks?
  2. Hopefully @Alasdair1 . I'll drop the tray and have a look.
  3. Update: It's definitely leaking - can see a small pool of coolant on the undertray. Just can't see where it's leaking from. Garage job. Just as I fix one thing on this car, another thing goes wrong... (the coolant warning light came on immediately after I replaced two sticking front brake calipers).
  4. Checked today and it's dropped to just below the low level. Might need some further investigation with a torch I think.
  5. Thanks @Warrior193 . I've topped it up and will keep an eye on it now but might also need to redraw the level lines on a side of the reservoir that I can actually see!!
  6. MK2 2.0 Estate auto Just had the low coolant warning come up so took a look and it was below the low marker (which is really difficult to actually see!) Honestly never paid attention to the coolant level before so couldn't tell you how long it's been leaking, but had the car since September. Replaced the DSG thermostat just before Christmas so had coolant but didn't top it up as only lost a few drops. Engine hasn't been overheating, not seen any signs of this until today. Suggestions on common places to look for potential leaks?
  7. Duly noted. Glad you got it sorted.
  8. Perfect. That saves me some hassle then!
  9. I'm driving in Europe (from UK) in April, first time in the Skoda Superb. I have the bi-Xenon headlights and I have the option for tourist mode on the Maxidot. Is that all I need to do drive on the right hand side, or do I still need to stick on some headlight converters?
  10. Which thermostat did you change?
  11. Ah perfect. That answers that one then! Thank you.
  12. Interesting. In addition to the antenna on the roof?
  13. Could potentially be, but yours will be the main thermostat and I think that's a little more involved to replace (although not impossible).
  14. On my pre-facelift Estate, the two rear fixed windows (behind the rear doors, looking in to the boot - number 27 in the image below) appear to have traces on them that look like heating elements, similar to the rear screen. However, I've never seen them work, even with the heated front screen, heated rear screen, and heated wing mirrors turned on. Does anyone know if these genuinely are heated, and if so, which circuit they should operate from?
  15. Of course - this was the one (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/406295175176). Perfect fit, although I would suggest cutting some of the length off the plastic bolts before installing, just to make it quicker, as you don't need the whole length.
  16. Looks like the nozzle is 3T0955103 (left) or 3T0955104 (right), if that helps?
  17. I have replaced my DSG thermostat this weekend and it has resolved my issues. I also got a grille cover as suggested by @Karpov and it's a perfect fit. I know we don't have arctic temperatures here, but every little helps.
  18. Can anyone recommend a specific aftermarket front window regulator that has clips which don't constantly let go of the glass? I had issues when installing the new regulator a couple of months ago which eventually resolved themselves, but now it's got cold again my passenger opened the window before the car had warmed up and it's happening again. The rest of the mechanism appears fine (without taking the regulator out and checking).
  19. Don't worry about it. Thank you for coming back and letting us know how you resolved it!
  20. That's interesting Karpov. I've just googled and such a thing does exist. Ingenious! https://ebay.us/m/mb6wxh
  21. If it's ABS-derived, it could be a dodgy sensor. With no fault showing it might be trial and error as to which one it is. Are all the tyres okay condition-wise?
  22. Mine has been barely lifting past 50C these past few very cold days, but to be fair, I've not been doing any long trips, although it would usually teach temperature on the gauge for these trips.
  23. Just checking - did you hold the button down or just press it?
  24. I'll concentrate on the damage first like you did and then move on. Thankfully my leather isn't perforated which makes it a tad easier!
