  1. I think its a dealer only (or someone with valid geko access for odis) job. When your new keys were created the old ones has been programmed off from the immobilizer system. The computer asks how many keys you want to program to the car and it will register those keys that you program on that time and every other key is removed from the system. I dont think its going to be very expensive job to do in dealer. I estimate its about 30min to 1 hour job. There is also a maximum amount of keys that can be programmed to a car, but i think 4 is not a problem.
  2. Havent heard any isseus regarding that tho
  3. I think it has to be a 7 speed dry clutch. Check that it functions properly. Clutch replacement is a costly operation
  4. Do you have any video or recoring of the noise?
  5. I would go with the original oil, but are you sure that the oil change is gonna fix it?
  6. The cooling system needs to be flushed, its a very expensive job. There is a risk that the new matrix gets glogged up etc. if the flushing is not done correctly. There is also some pipes that needs to be replaced. Unlucky
  7. Those keys need to be programmed to work, there are no other way to get them to work.
  8. VCDS is your best option, its "cheap" and works well. You can do much more with VCDS than with those cheap market scanners. I would go with VCDS
  9. That 1.4l engine with timing belt is one of the best engines you can choose. That 1.4l engine with timing chain has a lot of problems, i would not go for it..
  10. and for the right side the part number seems to be 6Y0837478A
  11. With that price its not bad (or in that price range). Very impressive
  12. What year model is that? Do you have VIN for the car
  13. Does the mechanic who is coming to check the car have experience with skoda or with that 1.5l engine? If you can hook up a scanner check for misfires.
  14. Very good text, thanks for that
  15. What color did you get? I like the new interior so much
  16. I agree with you that the prices are often way too high, but thats not always because of the dealer.
  17. Did you get the center cap size from somewhere? If not i can try to help you
  18. What program are you using to read fault codes?
  19. vRS is always looking nice. I wonder why skoda doesnt have anything like vw golf R or audi RS / S. Powerful engine and great look
  20. Great choice! Does monte carlo always come with 1.5l or is there 1.0l option available too?
