  1. Name them to shame them and i will get them to the top 5 Internet / AI searches for Skoda Dealerships. They might think any publicity is good publicity until they get what they will get for free.
  2. Welcome. Spring Assistors are still a thing. But was it 'Bouncy' unloaded and driving solo, not towing? Did you reset the tyre pressures? What are you going to be towing, and what engine / gearbox has your Estate?
  3. Really who and when they arrive in the UK is not about SALES or Importing and paying the tax and getting the vehicles paid for and out to Customers, but very much about First Registrations and meeting the Co2 Fleet Averages and the EV Mandate First Registrations are being met. Dealers vehicles for individual / private customers vehicles might well get treated differently to Fleet / Motability / Lease of 'Management / Demonstrator vehicles. Less urgently or more urgently.
  4. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/429261-dont-buy-a-201718-150ps-4wd-man-7-seat-if-you-tow
  5. It is only the DQ200 with separate oil in the Mechatronic Control Unit and in the box. Why no Oil filter as in nearly all the other DSG,s were the clutches are in the oil & that oil is in the MCU as well. (Why with DQ381,s that the Manufacturer / Workshop / dealer employees should say Oil filter not needing changed at 80,000 miles and first at 160,000 or the 2nd Oil service.
  6. Best the OP finds where the fault is then & fixes it then if the Hand Brake is so poor it is not obvious it is still applied, even just a little.
  7. I guess no Hand Brake / parking brake light. Why should there be? Put your hand on the Hand Brake and know if it is applied or not.
  8. @nta16 a n/a 1.0 3 cylinder engine. No turbo it is not a TSI.
  9. It is not sealed. You open the drain plugs and the Box and MCU can be serviced, oils changed. It is just that the Manufacturer has no Service Guidelines, Advice, Schedule or specifications for servicing the DQ200 DSG. (People do service them.)
  10. That makes no difference. It is not a 2.0 TSI or TDI or AWD or a PHEV, so not a DQ250, DQ381 or a DQ400-e. It is a Twin Dry Clutch DSG.
  11. If FWD and 150 ps / 250 Nm max it is a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG with 2 oils and no service schedule or regime. & no filter to change.
  12. Is it a 1.2 TSI or MPI, how many miles done, when were the spark plugs changed or looked at?
  13. Good to know. & good that you say why. Maybe 7 million DQ200,s on it is time that VW Group gave Servicing advice on them. After all there are ones still from 2009 or original oil, and ones since the Service Campaign in 2012 & 2014 still running with the oil they changed at the Service Campaign. People do change both oils as seen in this very forum. pictures of the oils are available,. They also clean out the stoor in the box at the clutches.
  14. @PetrolDave Suggest by whom? VW, SEAT, Audi or Skoda, or @super717 in his thread & by AN Other. Just Go get it done then, there are people that will change both oils, maybe even a Main Dealership Technician.
  15. Speak to the Brokers then. Forum Sponsors. @DAN@ADRIAN FLUX Might be along shortly.
  16. @jim457 Great. Best get on then and have it First Registered in the UK and get it Insured so that it is not just a vehicle visiting the UK temporarily. ? Can it not just be Insured now as a Tourist / Visitor might arrive in a car that came from other World Regions and into the UK, just till it gets that IVA carried out. Surely just a minor issue on the day If a Euro 6 Compliant / Type Approved car with a CofC.
  17. @dbolton A 3 pin cable charging at home might take for ever to charge 60 kWh into the battery. 200 miles or so. But on a Wall Box then 10 hours max maybe. 6 or 7 hours at 7 pence a kWh and then 3 or 4 at Not off peak tariff. Or even all 10 hours not off peak charging could be @ 30 pence a kWh if standard tariff. £18.00 for the 200 miles. Or 15 hours to get 300 miles £27.00
  18. Correct. (So submit for Certification if you have Billions of $,s or just have whoever do what needs doing to Import and Register in the UK. World Wide Harmonised Testing, not done, no certificate. So OK for world wide countries not in Europe / EU / UK. If a 1.4 TSI was compliant in 2018 on without electrification then they could be sold by SEAT, Skoda, Audi and VW in Europe / EU / UK and not just the last run out models that they did sell like 1.4 TSI Alhambra and a few others possibly. They need not bothered botching up 1.5 TSI ACT,s just to get certification, even making the issue with Kangerooing. Even e-Golf 1.4 TSI & Audi e-A3 were discontinued pre WLTP because they needed cheating to get Certification.
  19. It is a DQ200-e 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG. There is no Service / Oil Change regime for it.
  20. The 2024 1.4 TSI be it ACT or not is not WLTP certificated for Europe / EU / UK. As simple as that. Type Approval might be OK, and the C of C. That is why not for sale new in Europe /. EU / UK with a Manual / DSG or 8 speed automatic as in other worlds regions. So not meeting the emissions requirement and needing the jumping through hoops. Why there is for sale in the EU / Europe / UK there are Mild Hybrids, PHEV,s or 1.5 TSI ACTs.
